binocular lens cleaner?
Browning'sCustomMeat replied to Coues Archer's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Sounds like you have an infection Check with a doctor ASAP! yeah so, yeah so..... -
Maybe the G&F should do like the NN does. Survey cards must be sent in within 30days after the end of the hunt the permit was given. If you don't send in those cards, it will then make a the hunter ineligible for the following year hunts, unless you pay a $100 penalty which then you could only apply for the left-over permits. -Jeremy-

Your first hunts
Browning'sCustomMeat replied to willhunt4coues's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
My first deer was a coues. 410yds and I was 16, it was 7:30 in the morning, last day of finals at school. I was coming out one morning from glassing the hills and glassed a buck chasing a doe, took off hiking and took a shot. 4hrs of packing and a missed day of high school finals I made it out. The things that bugs me and my dad is that he has never seen me take an animal. Hopefully this is the year when we are out chasing goats! -Jeremy- -

Lightning and Treestands...
Browning'sCustomMeat replied to huntswnm's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I drive a ground rod at the base of the tree and run a bare wire and tie it in to the stand.......never really been brave enough to try it out. All kidding aside, I have no intension of hang'n round when there is lightning, never used to bother me, just lately can't stand it, I've become a wimp I guess. I am up and out of the tree when the lightning starts.... -Jeremy- -

A friend of mine won't shoot another bear, not because of the sounds they make, but rather upon glassing for bear, he found one on a hill side having his way with the pricklies. He had to hurry and shoot before he felt bad, "why" I asked. He then told me it looked like a kid with a handful of candy, just sitting there on his behind eating out of his hand. So I could understand. But to the rest of you hunting for bears, good luck!! -Jeremy-
