Congratulations to the kid. That is a spectacular bull and he should be very proud, I would be. Score really shouldn't matter at 14 years, if it did, every bit of 400". I was so excited when I took my 300" bull last year, it was my second bull, and bigger than the first. I was with my best friends and family and THAT is what its about. Fishing was terrific, although we never made it to the river. We fished the tanks on top by Point of the Pines. I haven't been in that part of the state since I was little....real little and that country still looks just as big if not bigger. We caught at least 100 largemouth......and one heck of a buzz, and I was so busy......fishing, that I forgot to take any pictures of us......fishing! I do have a few pictures I can share with the public....

So on Friday I get a call around 9:30pm from a friend. I roll over pick up the phone and he screaming that he was drawn for hunt# 3008, Early rifle 23north. So now I am awake thinking that he put in with his father and brother and now they all have tags. We chat a while and he gets to celebrating......... This morning he comes in with his head down, so I ask whats wrong. Apparently, he checked online last night and the web said it was hunt# 3028, late 23 rifle bull, still a fun hunt. He called the hotline again and it does say #3008. He talked to a person at G&F and so they called in, used his info and they were shocked that it says 3008 and not 3028. I wonder how many times this happens.....anyone know? Its prolly just a one in a million chance. Right? -Jeremy-

I believe someone on here had a really funny story about a snake....or what they thought was a snake. I think it was during an antelope hunt and an orange vest with a tag on it. Anybody remember the story??

Owl calls work the best I think, but I have never bought one. A big ol "A-hoot" from the diaphragm, kind of like a hollow sound. Probably makes no sense, me explaining, but if you figure it out, it works great! -Jeremy-
