I was wondering if anyone would catch that. Haha, trust me it is purely based on jealousy, adoration and boredom!!! Nothing personal as I am sure you are gentleman, scholar, and a fine athletic supporter!!!

Well, I know this is the post everyone has been waiting for. I apologize for taking so long to get the pictures up but I kind of felt immoral posting them on Sunday and well I was just busy yesterday. Mr. Charter first contacted me in late 2007 for possibly booking a 2 day hunt with Long Eared Outfitters, however I was booked plum through Christmas, It just didn't look good with our busy schedules. However I realized that Mr. Charter was really focused on taking a true Arizona trophy Jack. His dedication was further realized when he called to inform me that he had indeed purchased the 2008 governors jack tag!!! He was serious. At this point I cleared my schedule and a date was set. We would really be roughing it on a half day hunt near the border but I was excited. Enought of the small talk though, lets go huntin. I picked Mr. Charter up at his Tucson residence near 4:45 in the AM on March the 22 day of 2008 and we were pumped. After about 14 or 15 coffee pit stops we were deep into the outer suburbs of Tucson. This was prime trophy Jack country. After a grueling 28 yard hike into our glassing point I had located the first jack of the hunt, a good 7 incher but not what we were looking for. After all this was the governors tag. Then I heard Mr. Charter excitedly whisper "look over there..." All we could see was his right ear but it was definitely a good looking jack, nice mass and everything. We got set up and waited for him to feed into a clear shooting lane, after a nerve racking 43 second wait he stepped out and Dang, he was busted up on the left side. Probably from a skirmish with one of the local bands of roaming rogue cottontails, I tell you them cottontails are scrappy. After seeing a few more young jacks we decided we would have to move onto some rougher country if we wanted a real monster. So we piled into McLovin (My Jeep) and headed further into the outback. It was pushing 9 am now and I was getting low on Copenhagen, never a good thing on such a prime hunt. Bad planning on my part, I was cursing myself when it happened. We came around a slight bend in the road and there they were. Not one but two absolute bruisers. Them ol Jacks don't get big by being stupid and as soon as they saw McLovin they sensed something was wrong. In a flash they were bounding off through the treacherous desert, one of em looked funny and thats when we realized what we had stumbled on, one of the Jacks had a DROP EAR. Holy buckets of bouncin bear (censor). By now they had moved out of sight so we decided we would do some tracking. About 12 yards off the road we found where they had jumped the fence but the hair on the top strand let us know we were close. While debating on which way they was headed I heard a low growl. I slowly turned around and was face to face with one of these beasts. He was bushed up under a little mesquite tree ready to make his last stand. With ears pinned back and fangs showing I knew he wasn't going to go easily. I got Mr. Charter set up and drew my pistol, you never know when one of these killers might charge. I could tell Mr. Charter was nervous, heck I was too. This was a big dang rabbit and we was in a tight spot. I told Mr. Charter to shoot before he charged and we had us a real wreck but he was having trouble getting the bead on his shotgun lined up, I think the clashing of that rabbits teeth had him scared. Just when I thought we were done for that ol 12 gauge rang out and it really mollywhopped that Jack! He's an absolute toad, after pictures we caped him out and started the 7 minute journey back to McLovin. After the official drying period we will let everyone know what he scores, right now he may be the pending Az record. Just to give you a hint on how wide he is, depending on what kind of keyboard you have it will dang near fit between his ears. All in all it was a great hunt!!!

I think it was at the same time. I remember sitting in class and constantly hitting redial. 1-602-942-3000 I can dial that number in my sleep.

I've got a Ruger P89DC 9MM for sale. The Guns in great shape, a few nicks on the right handle. It's a great pistol, I've never had any problems with it and I won't be sad if I don't part with it. Decided I need one of the 22-250's mentioned below. Pictures will follow this evening. Looking to get at least $325 or a good start on yotee stackin 22-250 , heck even a bow for trade might catch my interest. I also have a Henry Survival .22 that has never been fired, make an offer.

Oustsourcing

Probably won't apply to this situation, but I have found the ticket for customer service. I have Alltel and for the most part I'm pretty happy with them, however I had some technical questions the other day so I called customer service. After pushing 2 to get English I was assaulted with various options that had nothing to do with what I was trying to accomplish. This went on for awhile when I ran across the option to cancel service... Immediate Customer service and English to boot. So a few days later I need some paperwork regarding repaying my student loans. Call Sallie Mae, hit with the bombardment of options that I could see no one ever using, then I hear press 9 if you can't make your next payment. BOOM. Customer Service. Morale of the story, if they think you're jumping ship they will do all they can to save you. -
I personally think allowing the hearing by the Game and Fish is a smart move. It allows the Game & Fish to publicly end all arguments. Cabelas has stated they wont push a lawsuit and will respect the Game & Fishes final decision. The reason I think the public hearing move is smart (Note I'm not saying its right) is because I highly doubt that Cabelas has not attempted to pressure the Game and Fish behind closed doors. I think the public hearing is proof that the Game and Fish is sticking to their guns and has not cowed to Cabelas yet. IF they deny Cabelas at the meeting then the whole situation is over. Who knows though, the Game and Fish might just reach for their ankles on this one.

Here are some pictures of the Henry. I have more if you want. As for how old it is, I believe I got it NIB 2 years ago. I've taken it out of the box twice, once to assemble it and look at, and the other time to catolog it for my gun registry. It's never been fired and has all of the parts. Its in mint shape, and yes, all of the components fit into the stock. And always, if I sell anything on here I will kick back a portion to Amanda. Thanks.

Was lucky enough to spend all 3 whitey hunts in 35A this last year. I'm sure my spots are no giant secret but I've got a few places I consistently saw pigs over the course of the year, if your having problems finding pigs or want an extra set of eyes let me know. Otherwise good luck.

suns bushing for a championchip
uofahughes2 replied to thunderbolt's topic in Non-hunting trip reports
Throw this out as a side note.... One of the reasons the Suns made the trade was because the next top bidder for Shaq was the Mavericks. Personally not a big fan of Shaq but can you imagine how he would have helped the Mavs.... -

Randy Anderson Video
uofahughes2 replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
I've watched the Randy Anderson videos over and over, the guy is amazing. Personally I've never gotten one to come into range here in southern Az. I've had them call back or respond to my howls and yips but have yet to get one from howling alone. Good luck and let me know if you figure out the secret. -
Holy Buckets of Bouncing Bear Sh....... 19 Bogus Points. I thought I had it bad..... OH well, perhaps this is the year I draw my Lopeagoat tag..... (As the song dream on plays quietly in the background.)
