I received this in an email a few days ago and I am sure many of you have already seen it. However I thought that the first part from Alexander Tyler was pretty interesting. I have no idea about the numbers at the bottom, I generally feel that statistics are generated to enhance your personal agenda. Thought I'd throw it out and see what everyone else's opinions happened to be, because you know 60% of the time, it works every time.... (Side note... Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare...' Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the 'complacency and apathy' phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the 'governmental dependency' phase.

On August 20th, 2008 every Walmart in Alabama sold out of ammunition. One anonymous source was quoted as saying "Those Russians may have invaded Georgia, BUT THEY SURE AIN'T GETTING ALABAMA."

Some great responses going on here. These are a few of my favorites... Never pick a fight with an old guy, if he can't beat you he'll just kill you. Todays game was much better! I was at Fridays game as well and as soon as he hit that ball I sent a text to my pops that said "Chipper Jones just jacked the longest homer I've ever seen." One of those deals where it was cool to see, just wished it would of came from one of our guys.

He absolutely hammered that ball!!! As soon as he hit it you knew it was gone.....and to the deepest part of the park. The paper estimated that it went 434.

That ball Chipper Jones hit last night sure got out of the park fast.

I have a question for everyone sorta along the same lines.... A guy that I work with asked me this question the other day. He has a muzzy deer tag, but wants to go archery hunting as well. If he kills a deer on the archery hunt, can he then transfer the muzzy tag to his kid? I think its his daughter who did not draw a tag this year. Has anyone seen this dilemma before?
