M1 Garand and 400 rounds of M-2 ammo ......price amended.....delivery options
JLG replied to JLG's topic in Classified Ads
They definately give you the feeling that if you run out of ammo you can bash the skulls of your enemy until you get more rounds..a robust gun it is...they are alot of fun to shoot and it's fun to listen to the ping of the enbloc as it ejects from the gun... a true piece of American Military history... I did briefly entertain setting it up to deer or elk hunt with, make an awesome story, on par with using your great great grandfather's 45-70 or 1894 Winchester Saddle gun for a hunt for nostalgia or reverance to those who have gone before us... -

M1 Garand and 400 rounds of M-2 ammo ......price amended.....delivery options

Hi have Springfield Amory M1 Garand, serial number on the receiver, puts it as a September 1942 manufacture..... outside of that can't give anything more on its history... have had it about 7 or 8 years and have only shot it a few times... wanted one as a kid growing up watching all the WW2 movies.... the Garand with the Ammo is $1100, PM with interest... Take Care JLG.... On a side note I bounce between Buckeye and Payson so delievery is not out of the question as an option if you have been on here for a while and have established yourself.. let me know in a PM where you are located and I can decide from there.... -
It's actually loaded specificly to M1 Garand specs.. not to say it wouldn't shoot in other 30-06's.. if I shot your Core Lokt's in my M1 one I would run a pretty good chance of damaging my operating rod in the gas system on the Garand.... the commercial stuff tends to run a bit hotter than this particular Military surplus...

I have a fold out ladder to 16 feet. It has some weight to it but if you fold it up you could mount it on a packframe. Grab some cans of spray paint and do your own custom camo paint job. This is a think outside the box idea here, so putting it out there, let your imagination run wild 🤔 I am selling the ladder for 60, current in Buckeye this weekend, but heading back to Payson tomorrow so reasonable delivery in the Valley is not out of the question or can be taken up to Payson if you reside in that neck of the woods..Thanks JLG

This thing is awesome, they run about 75 new before tax. You plug this in to a power source and as long as you use a metallic pan or pot that a magnetic will stick too, this works awesome. If you have a new fangled truck with a.c. power on the back you can cook your meals off your tailgate using this, off your card table if you camp using a generator or inside your trailer without the need to fire up your gas stove that takes forever to clean, once you use it you will wonder how you lived life without, it's pretty small and easy to pack up, be the envy of your friends... I will take 40 for it, please PM for inquiries...

Thanks guys for the plug, I have it occupied that week already. Tony and I talked over PM a few weeks back, Take Care, JLG. -
My Friends and I ran into this guy at Willow Springs on July 2nd. I had myself and 4 friends too many for my little boat so I took two across to the north side of the lake east of the Dam and dropped them off, picked up the other two and we alternated people all day. About noon or so I went back to shore to trade people out got out of my boat and he was standing about 15 feet in front of me, materilized like a ghost. It gave us all the willies. He first asked for water and than saw my friends had beer. He than asked for a beer and laughed. My buddy grabbed a cold water out of the ice chest and gave it too him and went on his way. My buddy had a Glock 19 on his hip, so I don't know if that made a difference or not. We were a little off from the crowds but not enough that if he had done something it wont have drawn attention to himself. I just remember how blood shot his eyes were. The asking for beer and laughing put a human side to him. Its odd to think he is dead now. Thankfully, it wasn't our day that day and the only thing it cost us was a bottle of water, Take Care, JLG.

My place in Star Valley/Payson will be open spring turkey and spring bear for 2017. Great jumping off point for the cold weather hunts. Great access into 22. My place can sleep 8 people. I have 5 beds and two couches. It's three bedrooms, two bath, a full kitchen with washer/dryer, also have directTV and internet/WIFI, for those Coueswhitetail addicts or anyone that needs to get some work done in the evenings after hunting. It's around 1000 Sq. Ft. I will rent out my place to you and your hunting party for $100 a night. Have plenty of space for inside storage of gear and plenty of parking. At the end of the day the ability to take hot showers every night, and be able to wash and dry your cloths is huge. It can keep you hunting thru the whole season. Kitchen and all wares would be open for your use as well. If interested you can PM me and we can talk. My place is in Star Valley, Take Care, JLG. -
