Andrew, that was a great write up. I would like to see your spin on the elk hunt you helped us on and really look forward to your take on the upcoming javelina hunt. Really want to see you take one. JLG. -
I was on the 300 yesterday and it was open. Some snow and ice. Pretty muddy too. I wouldn't go up without a 4x4. JLG.

I am laying in my bed, heater going in the trailer. Outside temp in Star Valley is 33. Glad I am not in a sleeping bag in a tent somewhere right now. Next two weeks should be interesting.

Jim please post another update, Thanks JLG.

Ideas, advice and recommendations on ranger and jumping jack

Find a good wielder in Sierra Vista and let him use his imagination. I use a machinist and waterjet/wielder guy. I just tell them what I want and they do the rest and its usually pretty creative. JLG. -
Might want to try the 22/23 youth deer camp by punkin center. Lots of helpful folks there. Contact TLH on here and he can give you some details about the camp. JLG.

We had a good year, we also killed a couple cows too during the rifle cow hunt. My friends and I have a boatload of tags again this year. Most of the bulls taken where the first bulls these guys ever killed.

Here are some bulls from hunts in 22 last year. Mostly late rifle hunts. One was a mz and one a bow hunt. Need to install my old sd card. Will do it tonight, jlg.

You need a horn too. I started wearing Goggles, last year before that iit was just glasses, what a difference keeps the dust out of your eyes, bugs, heavy rain, well worth a good pair. JLG.

Very well done Marshall, your model's were a great touch. It came off without a hitch and very well organized, JLG. -
PM sent, Thanks JLG.

That is a good idea, it is nice to have company around the fire or back @ camp, or help on a packout, or just someone close by that can keep tabs on you during a hunt. JLG.

Pulled it, friend brought up P-dog season is around the bend. Take Care, JLG.

I could see this round being awesome on P-Dogs, up in Seligman when the wind kicks up. JLG.

Anybody have any experiance with this caliber in an AR-15 platform. It seems it would be a cool pig/deer rifle out to 300 yards or so. I think a 24" barrel would be very accurate, Take Care, JLG.

Closing in on 2000 reads, this should kick it over the top, Take Care, JLG.
