Glorious weekend in Payson. Fished Woods Canyon on Saturday. Weather was spectacular. Warmer than any day I have ever been on the lake this early in the year. Trolled worms and came home with 4 trout. Three rainbows and a tiger. The Rim Country this time of year is the stuff dreams are made of.

Fished and Caved last weekend. It is nice up here. Bottom trout is pushing 17. The other two were 14 and 15.

Couple buddies came up today and fished Green Valley Park here in town. Fished the main lake on the south side Worms and bobbers.

Good weekend on our juniors hunt for Javelina. Two 10 year olds doubled at the same time. Tough to do as adults much less two kiddos on their first hunt.

Going to be cold this weekend for Juniors javelina. My place is a great place to keep your babies warm at night.

Didn't score a second pig but the snow was gorgeous.

Aussie John scratched Javelina off his bucket list this past weekend. We are heading up to my place this weekend to try and get him another one. He has a 6a tag. Very limited time in 6a on pigs don't know the country. Anybody interested in showing us around and staying at my place in return let me know. He is going up Wednesday and will be there through Monday morning. John has hunted all over the world. Neat guy to meet and talk over stories.

Place could use some archers this season. Spent the weekend up there. It was warm and dry inside, wet and cold outside.

I answered Allforelk in a PM. The short answer is a dog must be housebroken and well behaved. You all know your dogs so if you know they will be good in someone esles home I am fine with it. If you have reservations about them than they need to stay home and other arrangements made for them. I am taking an individual at their word on this issue. I love my place and so far my experiences with the folks that have used it have all been extremely positive and God willing that will continue. I feel like the Coueswhitetail Community is a good group and as such are the only group I have opened the use of my home too. Take Care and Merry Christmas, JLG.
