These last couple draw cycles they started hitting cards the day after the credit update deadline. I assume this is so there aren't likely to be any changes. Even then, if drawn and there is something wrong with your card they call and give you a chance to fix it (or so I've read on CWT so it must be true ). Oh well, when it happens it happens. Fingers crossed. I hope you all get drawn except for the people who put in for the same units as me Good luck.

Or, like a responsible grown up you can have your accounts in order and the current system can work just fine. They offer a correction period for the unseen circumstances not so people can change their minds about what card to use. Credit cards are easy to get. Maybe have one just for draws??? The Game and Fish shouldn't have to babysit. The deadline is the deadline and if you aren't smart enough to fill out an online application apply on paper or don't apply at all. And don't wait til the last minute when you know the system is going to be overwhelmed. There is no reason to wait til the last minute, all it costs is an application fee. Dummies and procrastinators are the reason we experience delays every time. But, wait, there are no delays. Game and Fish has met their tags mailed by date every time. We've just become spoiled by finding out early and feeling like they owe us early results. Aren't we a sad lot...

As bad as it sounds, We are already paying for the kids care. Purely speculative but the article implies this kid is an anchor baby to an illegal immigrant mother who had to quit her job because she has no other family in the country. So, we are all already giving our money involuntarily. I hope all the adults involved are charged with child endangerment and neglect and, if their immigration status warrants it, deported. I hope the child is taken away and placed with a family that will properly care for him. -Flame on.

That pitbulls are more aggressive than other breeds is a complete myth. Pitbulls used to be the "Nanny" dog. The little rascals dog was a pit. They were the choice dog for guarding your kids. Thugs and wannabe gangsters who wanted a tough looking aggressive dog ruined it for them. By breeding them to fight and nurturing aggression they created a media sensation. Chihuahuas and Labs bite more people every year than Pits. You don't hear about those because they don't get reported and if they do the Lab is usually mislabelled as a Pit. Most of the bites you do hear about are not unprovoked. The dog was in his yard and suddenly there is a stranger in his yard. Isn't that one of the reasons people have dogs in their yard is to keep strangers out? Breed discrimination is absolutely no different than racism. "This group is more prone to do bad stuff." Easily applied to human groups and often is. The problem isn't the dog. It is the owner. If you raise your dog to behave badly or neglect to nurture your dog it is not going to know how to behave. I agree our hunts are late in the breeding season but there are still hot birds out there. I killed my tom last year on May 10th at 4pm. He was walking through the woods gobbling his fool head off hounding a hen. She was running away from him so it made it pretty easy to call him over.

Well, I looked and I'm not really ready to part with one of my Citicas so I don't have any reels to offer. I do have a nice 6'6" Fenwick rod. It is the Hardcore Graphite series rod 1/4-5/8 oz lure 6-17lb line. Made in the USA. The clearcoat is scuffed a bit near the lure hanger by the handle. If interested, that's hat I've got. Otherwise I recommend you list it on azflyandtie. probably sell real quick there.

All of this bickering and agreeing to disagree and people loving the new fee increases doesn't change the fact that AZ charges nearly twice what the rest of the western states do for resident tags and our application fees are higher too. They are gouging us because they know we will pay.

Comparing resident rates to non-resident rates isn't what is at issue here. We as residents are getting shafted when compared to other western states. I'm not a trophy hunter so I could give a rip about hunting the Kaibab or Paunsaugunt and I certainly wouldn't pay extra to hunt a "premium" unit. Also, my numbers are from the respective states regulation books. Please, if you are going to rebut with numbers, take the time to actually look them up instead of "I think".

This is my bow. Pretty shiny. My wife watched me stalk a buck this winter and she said all she could see was my orange fletchings. That was through my 15x56 Kaibabs at 300 yds. I stalked well into range of a number of deer with this bow this season. I don't think the shiny bow affected the outcome at all. I doubt a camo white one will either.

Amanda, I just used a regular spray paint can. The deer I just did two coats. The javelina was starting to disarticulate so I coated it rather heavily.

I figured I'd share my painted skulls. Metallic Copper Krylon. It's a real nice effect.

I think they would look pretty slick in silver too. Wish I could take credit for the idea. I saw one done like this at Hunters HQ. I think it was done by a local taxidermist. I thought it looked good so I replicated it.
