What a great looking buck! Congrats!

It is believed that the bot fly larva contribute to sinusitis in Bighorn sheep which causes the horn sloughing and sometimes death.

I've got a 19A rifle tag. Hopefully a couple good ones make it past the archers. Three more weeks of archery hunts. After this I think I am putting in for archery hunts only.

I've heard of a bunch of dead bucks on the archery hunt. Where the heck are the pics and stories? Slackers...

How Fat is Fat? The All American State of Denial and BMI
mr.smith replied to Healy Arms's topic in Hunting Fitness
At 6'3" 228 I am on the edge of obese according to that chart. Sure I have a couple pounds to lose but never really considered myself even fat. When I was in the Army I held at 212 and still had to get taped every time we had a PT test because of that stupid BMI chart. 150-190 is optimal. I haven't been that light since I was 18 and at that time I was super skinny. -
Amen brother!

Good draw for a guy from Dewey. I'll be in there too with my wife. Also have a rifle antelope tag in there.
-
Congrats on the sheep tag Mike!

Ok, here is the simple solution. The game and fish should put an identifier with the charge that indicates the hunt number drawn. Then it just shows up on your cc hit no more waiting around pissing and moaning about a system that isn't really broke.

Chuck Norris could stop global warming with his icy stare alone. Chuck Norris once got bit by a rattle snake. After three days of pain and agony the snake died.

Questions About Hunting Locations/Rules in Arizona
mr.smith replied to EverythingWx's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
The regulation book will tell you what units are open (pretty much every unit around Flagstaff is open on the early hunt) and the National Forest maps will give you an idea of what is public and what is private. Plenty of area and a decent amount of deer. Good luck! -
Both lions and bears scratch up trees to hone the hardware. It also serves as a scent post. The bear scratched trees I've seen have been super dirty and covered in hair because bears like to rub their backs on the trees also.

I think it is Evan in 4B. Hope he's alright.

70lb limbs? -
Well, I hope it is a sheep tag for you.
-
So was your uncle the only one on the application?
-
$300 could be a sheep tag.
-
Hit for $90. Wife and I are deer hunting. Waiting on that sheep hit...

They do alright in the wind. I never use the tie down lines and rely on my gear to hold the tent in place. Havent had it blow away or collapse yet.
-
Coleman instant tent. Goes up in a minute and a half. Under $150. I have the 4 man (pretty sure that is for 4 little men) wish I had the 6 man. The one I have will fit a queen size air mattress.
-
There is a lot of mud mixed in there too. My wife had a heck of a time getting home from work this evening. 66 at Fanning was under 2 feet of ice and mud.

My interpretation of the process is that the CC update deadline means they will run the draw the next day or two and then start hitting cards once the draw is complete. The CC deadline is to ensure everyone is up to date so they minimize the number of people they have to call.
