Oh yea!!! Two weeks to go and the countdown started weeks ago… along with the prep!! I have both my sons (18 and 25) hunting with me for the first time. I’ve hunted with each of them but this is the first time we will be out looking for the grey ghosts together. My friend and hunting partner is coming in from Florida and another friend and his son will be joining us for the weekend so we will have a full camp!!! This of has caused me to prep the full outfitters camp (less the wood stove and other un-needed cold weather gear!); wall tent, cook shack, etc. You talk about lists…
My buddy and I got camp all set up during our archery elk hunt last year and went to do a shot along with our barley pops only to discover I had left the booze box at home!! We beat feet to town to get the needed replacements!
