I do not know too many people who shoot with the string on the right side of their nose and aim with the left eye. Seems it would be hard to look thru the peep!!! She is a cutie and with her starting at such a young age, she should have lots of trophy's hanging on the walls.

The "take" defintion from Azgfd is grey at best. Officer's desrcetion will play into most "take" violations. They still have to prove "intent."

1. They havn't updated their website in a longtime regarding rule #1. Rule #2- To pursue is to take according to game and fish. A person does not have to actually harvest an animal to have been desribed as to "take" an animal. Look for the actual definition on their site, it will desrcibe "take" to you. #3- That law just recently passed, and they have not updated their website. #4- same as above

Romanian wasr's are 599$ @ cabelas. But are selling for 7-800 on gunbroker. A mini 14 is a poor man's AR. Now if it is a Ruger ar-15, they make some pretty nice Ar's. Seems like a fair trade as of today, but it all depends on how the market will go after Obummer and all the other gun haters try to ban them. If it were me, I would only do the deal if you like AK's and if it is a ruger ar-15, not a mini.

the 2.5 times they were referring to was the amount of traffic the website encountered on the last few days of the online draw. (first deadline). They designed this years system to handle more than last year's number of applicants during the "last minute rush" period. This year exceeded last year by 2.5 times on those days. Not overall applications.

Curious as to why no cams. I have a rig that has cams, that I would be willing to get rid of.

I was pissed that they extended the draw deadline, but now I will have to check and make sure mine went thru and I will have to time to re- apply if needed.

I used to shoot cx300's and afte they discontinued them, I switch to the Maxima's. Fairly seemless transition, and the maxima's are considerably stronger.

I love the leica Ultravid HD's. I have always thought that having a rangefinder inside of 15 power was not as practical as 10 or 12 power. Seems it would be hard to stabilize if you were stalking in and had to say range a deer around 80 yards or so. I think they would be great for longer range rifle hunting. My eyes are a little different than others, and I am one of the few that think the new SLC HD's are better than the new EL's. I have the regular EL's and love them, and was going to get the new EL's but hated their new flat line technology. Really plays tricks on my eyes when panning.

Money put into "race guns" very rarely gets returned. Kinda like driving a new truck off of the lot. Very small crowd to sell to that would be interested, and most want to personalize their guns to them. Would be really hard to get 6-800$ out of it if you ever wanted too. Unless you add 50 rounds of 22lr to the sell and maybe 4 pmags for AR's.

I personally like the viper's better than the kaibabs. I can not stand the fit of the kaibabs. If it were me, I would scrap vortex all together and look at other options. Swaro being my number one and leica, zeiss are close seconds. Really it just comes down to personal preference and fit is everything.

Curious how you build for under a grand? Gun is 300-400$, Stock 250-400$, trigger is 150$ and barrell is endless. Please give me a break down of your build. I am interested in building another rifle and it would be cool to stay under a grand. Also I have never worked on a savage action, are they easy to swap barrels with them having a barrell nut? Do they stay as true as a remington action? Didn't mean to hijack, just like to here from guys that do lots of long range shooting and builds.

dang!!! If you put a mesquite tree behind him I would start the stalk. Then I would make the shot and wonder why in the world game and fish put out a dummy buck when my arrow stuck in him.
