10 yr old swaro vs new vortex kaibab
cramerhunts replied to KaibabHunter's topic in Optics and tripods
There is no question since in this case the price is close to the same......the swarvos hands down, done deal, don't look back. I am a big fan of vortex glass and own several scopes and binos but they are not swavorskis! When price becomes a non factor the reality is the best glass is the swarvos, shaper image, better light transmission, and they will still honor the warranty against malfunctions and defects if you are not the original owner. -
Great mounts! They look awesome!

I was fortunate enough to win a print of my choice from Doug's awesome gallery. I chose one of my favorites and Doug had it shipped out to me. After getting it all mounted, matted, and framed it now rests in my office and gives me a little peace through out the day. Thanks so much for donating the prize as well as running the contest Doug!

Whoohoo! Awesome job boys on a couple of great birds! Congratulations!

Access can definitely be a problem but there is plenty of land to hunt and with a little leg work and communication with the ranchers you shouldn't have an issue. As Sundevil said they are smaller then most antelope in the state but still a very fun and rewarding hunt. Here are a couple of pictures of my dad's buck from a few years ago.

We just got Jaycie's buck back from Scott at Global Destinations Artistry and he absolutely nailed another mount for us. We couldn't be more happy with his work or turn around time of five months. During the time of waiting he would send me pictures of the process and keep me posted on where things were at, it was really neat to watch everything come together. So on Saturday Scott drove the buck up from Tucson to us here in the valley. I just can't describe what an awesome job he did and my Jaycie is so stoked to have her very own monster buck hung in the living room for all to see and relive the hunt all over again. Thanks Scott! Jaycie and her buck in the field. Scott delivering the buck to Jaycie. On the wall!

I just finished sending Crystal an email thanking her for taking the time to report on this issue. I think she did a great job on it when it very easily could have gone the other way. Also thanks to Allen and the others who took the time to make it happen. I've been forwarding the link to everyone I know and strongly suggest everyone do the same.
