I have and use both the hand held as well as the lantern and swear by them for mosquitoes and gnats. Keep in mind your elevation though as they don't work very good above 6,500'. I loaned mine to a friend this last weekend sitting a blind and he swears by them now.

I hadn't been able to get on the forum for a couple of days and I was eagerly awaiting opening up the bow hunting section to see any early success stories and pictures.....oh my I had no idea what I had to see! Congratulations on a true Dream Buck, Toad, Stud, Monster, what ever you'd like to call him. I call him perfect! Way to go and get it done in a huge way. Not sure how you were able to keep your composure with that beast inside shooting distance but obviously you were. Fantastic!

Thanks for the picture, been dying to go check my cams but decided to wait until Friday and do it with a bow in my hand. Been hoping they'd be getting close to finished.

If you are looking into an Outfitter for a drop camp or more I'd suggest contacting Richie Hogan with Impact Trophy Hunts as I know he's helped out quite a few sheep hunters in that area.

I'm interested in the Walther and would like to know location as well.

I like to be prepared as well and after my research and if I'm lucky enough to get it done I will be taking my velvet coues to Becker. I've just never seen anyone do a velvet buck any better than him. I'd suggest making the drive!

Great pictures and cool buck! I've noticed some really good antler growth in some areas and some fairly poor growth in others. I believe the spotty rains is to blame for that or possibly the variable timing on when the rains happened.
