It's different for each person as to what is worth it or not. I've had so many good experiences and I'm not willing to be run out of our own Country that it is worth it to me. I am always armed and try to keep my surroundings in check. I had seen the people headed south long before they saw me, still pretty hairy situation that I hope doesn't happen again.

Fabulous pictures and awesome bucks. Take your pick but that straight three with the little cheater off his right g-2 is really cool.

Very nicely done. Congratulations and I agree they are very tasty!

I've tried it but cannot get over the feeling that I'm missing something.

May the hunting gods bless you TJ. I wish there were more like you roaming the hills.

I've had a lot of good experiences and bad there. Last year camped at 6500 ft and hunting close to 9,000 ft I had shots fired above my head from a group headed south with a heavy load and a few thirsty travelers swipe my water from camp with me sleeping just a few feet away.

Unless you get a good one. I spent over a hundred hours in mine last August/September and wouldn't trade it for anything. I tried some of the cheap ones first and agree they are terrible.

I use a low seat specifically built for blind use. It swivels, comfortable, and most importantly quiet! I also use a packing blanket on the ground to minimize noise which helps alot too.
