Wow those are some great pictures Brian. That's cool....I never knew they got rid of it that fast and that's a great buck as well. Phil -
I agree with Brian around 106. A beautiful buck for sure! Congrats. Phil

I was thinking the exact same thing, at the time that particualr hunter worked for my dad and it sure is a beautiful bull, Weller's did a great job on the mount! That is if this is the same bull? I know I didn't hear about any other bull of that caliber being taken....as a matter of fact I only heard of one cow being taken besides this bull. I spend a lot of time down there and have only seen a handfull of elk over the last 12 years. Phil

120 3/8". Absolutely beautiful buck and mount. I have a shoulder mount that Weller's did for me and I love it, hopefully they'll be doing another one for me this year! Phil -

Several Nice Bucks
cramerhunts replied to cdenton's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Some stud bucks for sure and those are some great pictures. Keep em coming cause you're really helping me switch gears from elk back to coues! Good luck on tagging one of them on your hunt. Phil -
Man that's a great write up to a great hunt with pictures to help to tell the story. Thanks so much for taking the time to put it all together for us. Sorry you didn't score on a bull but maybe you'll get lucky and draw again next year. It's awesome that you had such good people to help out and share in the memories. Phil

I agree with everything you said Mike and I appreciate the kind words about my uncle but just so noone gets the wrong idea there were only three people there on that particular hunt, Randy Bryant, John Mcclendon, and Randy. Phil
-
If I'm not mistaken that cat was taken on the San Carlos though. Phil
-
Yep that's my uncle Randy and I know he is one very proud and happy hunter and like Stan said he appreciates and admires all of the fine animals that he has taken over the years. Phil
-
Awesome job guys! Great write up and beautiful bull for sure. Congrats to all involved and its stories like this that remind us score doesn't always matter. Phil

Chef I hope you have a great one and many more to come. Phil

I was helping a buddy and the first couple of days were pretty good but then it really slowed down but on the 11th day it started picking up and then it really got going. I left on the 13th day but my buddy stayed until two days after it ended just to take pictures and video and he said they were going nuts. We never saw a broke point until the seventh or eighth day but towards the end we were seeing broke bulls everywhere. Phil
