went up to do some scoutin' for the upcoming archery season and saw this guy. also saw this buck here. i'm not very good at judging the size of horn, but this looked like good growth so far. but again i'm no expert so i really don't know. if any one could help me out and give me some idea of how big he might be when he's done growin i would really appreciate it. i know you can't see his tine length but he seems pretty wide.

skinwalkers creep me out! mainly cause there're real.

a buddy of mine drew 12a west two out of the last three years. but he only ended up taking a forkie on the last day of both the hunts, mainly because of a lack of scouting.

pretty sure thats what some call the "verde trout", although it is a type of chub. it acts like a trout, it'll hit dry flys and small spoons. i catch 'em all the time near the head waters near paulden. if you catch em you should probably put them back, even though they arnt protected they are being run out by large and smallmouth bass. of course i'm no expert and could be completly wrong about all of this.

i've had some success just getting some big, thick socks and putting them over my boots. but at a size 14 you might have trouble getting socks big enough.

i've always used a 4 and been realy happy with it for around here, although i usually switch to spinnng gear for bass. i never personally have had any problems with the lakes using my 4 but i dont seak trout in the lakes very much anyway. if i were you, going to alaska, even if only targeting trout, would use an 8 just to be on the safe side.

thinking about going out and trying to shoot myself a bobcat. i've never done any kind of predator hunting and was thinking about using my .22 so as to do as little damage as possible to the fur. is that enough power behind it to take it down? any thoughts or opinions would be helpfull, thanx.

factory reconditioned trail camaers?
jonscaife replied to jonscaife's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
i must be an idiot cause they wern't moultrie at all! they are stealth cam mc2-gv's. any input would be really helpfull. i would hate to spend money on a peice of crap. -
Its the same as using 500 lbs. of chum to catch a shark.Oppose to just throwing a single line and waiting, and then saying the outcome would be no different.Yeah Right Ne ways on CWT in the "how to hunt" section does it suggest buying cameras and a salt lick....nope! I can see the mentality of an outfitter using these tactics to give a paying customer (non-resident) more opp. and I am all for it.But thats commercial. As a fisherman U cant use live bait in tournaments. But commercially u can use nets.
