This rifle has been to the range one time and has about 10 rounds through. Just switched the scope to a brand new Sig Buckmaster 3-12. Mounted with Leupold all steel bases and rings. Here what it would cost new: Rifle - 500 Scope - 100 Bases and rings - 65 With tax this package would be about $725 Asking $475 cash! Save some money on this one. I live in S. Gilbert and work in E. Mesa. I can meet at the Sportsman’s Warehouse on Greenfield and the 60. Thanks for looking!

*SPF* Browning BLR Rifle in 7mm Rem Mag - Very Good Condition!
Cambow posted a topic in Classified Ads
I need to get rid a a few items and I am testing the waters on this one. They no longer make the BLR in this caliber and that's a shame. This one shoots right at about an inch if I do my job. It currently has an older Busnell Sportview scope mounted on it. It comes with 4 boxes of Remington Core-Lokt Ammo. If anyone has an interest, let me know and I will photograph it and post the images. Looking to get $1k for everything. Thanks for looking. -

I have 300 rounds of this brass that I bought for a rifle build and then I changed my mind on the caliber. Just hoping to get my money back out of it. $90 per 100 pieces or $250 for all 300 pieces. I can meet at the East Mesa Sportsman's Warehouse on Greenfield and the 60.

Ditto on the Sigs. I chose the SIG KILO 6K HD 10X42s and love them so far! My 10X42 Swaros are still just a tad better which is most noticeable in low-light. I definitely like the ergonomics and overall feel of the Swaros a lot better... but $1300 vs $3500 and I am super happy with them They range super fast too! Good luck!

What’s the twist rate on this barrel? -
I know this topic is getting beat to death lately... but I wanted to post my thoughts and get some opinions. I think I make sense, but there are way more knowledgeable shooters on this forum than me. I think when you compare the two rifles in an off-the-shelf purchase situation, the 7 PRC definitely has a slight advantage in that it's potential has already been maxed out in terms of seating depth for longer, higher BC bullets. The factory set-up in a 7mm Rem Mag has some limitations and you do have to seat bullets way deeper and into the powder capacity area, along this the slower twist rate compared to the PRC. But here are my thoughts... In a custom build rifle where you can choose the barrel, the twist rate and the throat length in the chamber... I feel like the 7mm Rem Mag has the advantage. I was getting really close to starting a custom 7PRC build and the more I researched the more I felt that in a custom rifle where you can maximize the COAL and extend the seating depth, I just don't feel like the PRC has any advantage at all. Am I crazy? With a 180gr Berger VLD, I get 2945 FPS out of my custom 284 Winchester and a 26" barrel. With my custom 7Mag, I am pushing to 3000 and I can't even seat as far out as I wish I could. I would like to push out to COAL of 3.600" and I am only able to get 3.400 in my rifle. I think if you build a rifle that allows for the max length... you would actually best the 7PRC. (Both of my loads are using 7828SSC powder). I would love to hear some thoughts on this.

I am setting up another long range rifle in 7mag and researching scopes. I have Leupold LRP 6.5-20 scopes on both my other rigs. I am hoping to save a bit and was considering trying out a Vortex Viper... but the more I read, the more confused I am. This company seems like the ultimate love/hate brand. I thought I would post on here to get the opinions of real-world hunters and shooters. Are Vortex scope okay? I read a lot of reviews about owners saying the eye relief is very unforgiving and that focus on the outer edges isn't great. But then others love them...? Would love to hear some of your opinions... I am looking for a scope that has zero-stop turrets and is a good product at an affordable price. Thanks in advance!
