Been hunting coues with rifle now for 14 years (12 kills). Hunting archery for 6 years ( No deer...just pig and one turkey) Helped many friends on hunts...enjoy it almost as much as my own kills.

Here are the facts!! ENJOY! R12-4-121 Big Game Permit or Tag Transfer A. A parent or guardian to whom a big game permit or tag is issued may transfer the unused permit or tag to the parent?s or guardian?s minor child, if: 1. The minor child is from 10 to 17 years old on the date of transfer, 2. The minor child has a valid class F or G hunting license on the date of transfer, and 3. A minor child less than 14 years old has satisfactorily completed a Department-approved hunter education course by the date of transfer. B. A parent or guardian may obtain a transfer, in person, at any Department office. To obtain a transfer, a parent or guardian shall provide the following: 1. Proof of ownership of the big game permit or tag to be transferred; 2. The minor?s class F or G general or lifetime hunting license, and if the minor is less than 14 years old, proof of satisfactory completion of a Departmentapproved hunter education course; and 3. The unused big game permit or tag. C. The Department shall issue a transfer permit or tag in the name of the minor child. D. This rule is effective July 1, 2001.

Worked at Kino Springs Golf Course a couple years back... Saw some big toads back in there. Between the golf course and the border. A lot of big canyons..lot's of glassing... You'll see plenty of deer! Good Luck T

We hardly bugled at all.....We just concentrated on cow calling. WHO KNOWS? Hopefully we will have better luck this upcoming weekend.

I was up in Unit 22 South this past weekend with my buddy on his archery bull hunt. NO LUCK. Bulls were hardly talking at all...they were shutting off 30 minutes after sun-up. We plan on heading back up this weekend. Anybody have any hot ideas?? We pretty much hunted around the "little green valley area", saw some real nice bulls, just seemed to always be in the wrong position. Plus it didn't help that once they left the meadow, they pretty much shut off. Happy Hunting You'll...... Thanks, T

Word is whoever had the coues governor tag, killed already..something around 116.???? Anybody else hear anything about this. I also heard it was in 34A?

Down south in 34A I have seen an unusual amout of fawns. Seen many sets of twins. Real little guys. And a couple Mule Deer fawns here and there.

I heard it went for $14,000.00.

I agree with TREESTANDMAN and ARIZONA GUIDE. That post was way out of line!!

Thanks Coues Addict!! Nope...no draw for coues... ...first time in 10 years. But I have been busting butt with the bow. I have a good buddy who drew for the archery trophy bull hunt in unit 22s and I have my dad to take out in the Nov. 34a coues hunt, so it will still be an exciting year! No shots, but ran into 3 nice bucks down in 34A. Actually got to within 20 yards of one of them, but then he busted me. (getting to 20 yds was kind of an accident - knew where they were headed so I was trying to cut them off and got a little to close) It was heck of fun though....heart didn't stop beating 100 mph for the rest of the afternoon!!

Will be down south in 34A looking for some coues. Saw a few nice bucks the last 2 weekends. Hoping they are still around.

Just got off the phone 2 minutes ago with Tucson Game and Fish and they said hopefully sometime NEXT WEEK!!! Can't get a straight answer from anyone!!!!!!!

Just called Tucson Game and Fish.....Asked about the draw and they said nothing yet and unsure of any DATES??

I have a friend who lived there for many years. His father was a forest ranger there and still lives there today. My friend has taken a few nice bucks out of 29. He say's the Rucker Canyon (towards John Long Canyon) holds some sweet toads. Be aware of the ranchers, he say's they try to play some tricks about Private Property here and there! They are FULL OF IT! Gather up your info and talk to the Forest Service on Lesley Canyon Road. He doesn't recomend 30A for whitetail.

Never hunted those area's! My favorite and only place is 34A. Taken some TOADS out of there! (124 being my best) Seen many bigger than that!
