Anytime you have a chance to get out there, do it!! As for bucks with the herd of does?? In my past experiences, I have only seen mature bucks together without any does in the early archery hunt. But hey what do you have to lose??

I too shoot the 5575 GOLD TIPS. (with 100 grain tips) I have never had a problem as of yet. I love um.....but at the same time have never shot anything else....Just keep shooting til you find what you like. Good Luck! Tommy

It scores somewhere between 55" and 60". He's got some great mass and carries it all the way up. His left antler is a 5 point (including the eye gaurd)...never did find that side though.

Ernesto, I'm SORRY to hear that! Horrible, my heart goes out to you! SO SAD!! I was guiding one of my buddies son's this past October Hunt and same thing happened to him......had a buck of a lifetime 75 yards from us and everytime he went to put a bullet in the chamber, the gun would fire. VERY SCRARY. No body was hurt, thank god. Felt so sorry for the little guy! (Ended up happening on another deer - anyways, his dad took the gun in and they said the firing pin was stuck) Hang in there, many many more coues to come!! Tommy

Weller's Wildlife Studio is now charging $575.00 - BUT LET ME TELL YOU, IT'S WORTH IT! They have done many coues and elk for me...and they turned out AWESOME!
