Beautiful buck, congratulations!

Congratulations!

I agree with you Mr.Quimby. Thanks for the excerpt, it was an interesting read. I see euphemisms used in my profession all the time and they, "make me want to engage in an involuntary personal protein spill".

Good luck. I think I know your friend Greg from the sounds of where you are going to be hunting.
-
Congratulations, looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures. Were you hunting around Fort Sumner? My family knows a rancher there who has really big antelope and a few years back he started doing hunts for corsicans, texas dalls, etc.

Congratulations, I am glad you had a good time in NM and got a nice goat!

Congratulations, great rams and a good story!

Near Chama, on a Game and Fish property called the Sargent WMA.

It is too hot to be heading down to coues country, so I headed North and went hiking with my wife, 19 month old toddler, and dog last weekend. We had a good time and saw mule deer, elk, bear, turkeys, grouse and a coyote. Glassing is definitely a lot tougher when a toddler is constantly trying to tackle you from behind, but it is a bunch of fun taking him along. I called the coyote in to about 10 yards just by smooching at him as you can hear in the video. Coyote coming in:

Great binoculars at a good price if the lenses are in good condition. I have the 8x42's and they are great glass.

Congrats Vini, It looks like you all had a great time!

Coue's brother needs prayers - Las Conchas fire in New Mexico

Good luck Bill, I hope your cabin stays safe. I can see the smoke cloud from here in Albuqueruqe. -
The way the winds are blowing, a lot of the smoke is blowing straight to Albuquerque, NM. You can smell the smoke here and yesterday evening the smoke was so thick I couldn't see the mountains that are just a few miles away. The way it looks, you would think that the fire is pretty close to us.

Congratulations! They are an awesome animal to have free ranging here in NM, good eating and fun to hunt.

Congratulations, it looks like a great time was had by all.

Here are some mounts we picked up yesterday. My wife's oryx, a young bull, which was her 2nd big game animal. The mountain lion is an average sized female that my brother killed a few years ago. He doesn't have room to fit it where he is currently living, so it will hang on my living room wall for a while. Thanks NMTaxi for the nice work.

Funny and sadly true in many cases.

Yep Casey, that is a Mt. Reedbuck. I think it would have been #12 in SCI when I killed it, but I never did enter it.

I did not get a turkey this year, due to not getting my head down good and missing an easy 35 yard shot. I did manage to find a few nice elk sheds (4browns and one that was a year old) on the last 2 days that I hunted. The matched set score 312 5/8" without a spread credit, so he would have been in the neighborhood of 350". This is the biggest matched set I have ever found.

Beautiful mount. The freeze dried heads look much better IMO.

I think AZlance is joking. Killed in SW NM as stated previously.
