Well I couldn't wait any longer. I purchased the 700 SPS Varmint. I think I'm going to Dura Coat this gun but i don't have my scope yet. How well does Dura Coat stick to the factory synthetic stock?

I was there, didn't find what I was looking for but there were some deals to be had for sure. I saw two Rem 1100s for $295 ea. I ended buying some 460 S&W ammo and my son bought a sweet blow gun.

I'd be in. Sounds like alot of fun.

Thanks for the input fellas, I was down at SW fondling one yesterday and I like the gun alot. What scope/mount combo would you go with on this rifle? Does anyone know of someone who might have one for sale?

Hi all, I'm looking for some opinions on the 30-378. I know know I like the round but I would like to know more about the rifle. I own a wby in 30-06 and it has always been a good shooter but I have heard that these 30-378s can be tempermental. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I would just go to SWH, they have many diferent size pads cut and ready to go. I have the outfitter XL cot and I don't think I paid nearly $90 for my pad. It's alittle bulky but well worth it.

Great story, great buck, welcome.

Thanks guys for the info, has anyone had any experience with the factory Accu-brake (muzzle brake)? Any good or bad thoughts?

Hey Schmitty, are you interested in a mod 42?

I am selling for my cousin a Winchester Mod97 trench shotgun. I have done some research and believe by the serial # from this gun it is from 1938. It has 4 rows of holes on the heat shield not 6. I have seen these priced from $450 to $950. This gun is in good condition and I am asking $550.00. I am in Mesa and have the gun at my house. SOLD
