Hey Guys... It looks like the fire restrictions have started... Take a look... www.thenewmexicosportsman.com

hhmmm there seens to be a need to clothing that is high performance but not high price... Maybe I will start a company.... and you will be able to get my stuff in Max-1.... Is this a little foreshadowing???
-
Are you guys familiar with www.camofire.com ? The often has Sitka Saturdays??? Some of the stuff they have on clearance is weak but every once in awhile you can find a good/great deal... J

I am still bummed that they decide to go with optifade... I understand it was a business decision but I think it is going to bite them in the rear.... J

"any" is a strong word. I am sure it happens in the Christian(Catholic) community people just don't talk about it.... I know of a few..... Tim... I think you are right on.... While I am happily heterosexual and abortion wouldn't be a choice for me. I just want the freedom to make those decisions on my own... We should all live by example because it is the right thing to do not because some law is forcing us to do something.... J

ff... Let me first say that bowcast has done some work for Spot Hogg so you can take or leave my advise... I just want to be honest... I have tried a ton of rests from trophy takers, to dropzone to QADs to Vaportrails and personally I think the Whammys are the best out there... I reallly like the fact that they have true micro-tune. They aren't those rests that you have to loosen the bolts then tap tap tap and pray. I also like the fact that the hold the arrow up longer BEFORE they drop. Before I tried the whammy I was sure if they were containment type which I like but they are.... They hold the arrow very nicely.... J

sanctity of traditional marriage... that is funny.... Personally, I could care less who marries who.... but around half of all marriages end in divorce... For something so sacred know body seems to give a crud when they get divorced. Maybe we should make it illegal to get divorced.. Now that would protect the sanctity of traditional marriage... J

Loaded. 60-70 lbs, Short Draw (26-28) Trophy Taker Rest, Fuse Stabilizer, John's Custom String, NIB Quiver, G5 Peep. in G1 Camo $550.00 or make me an offer...I have have a Sure-Loc Lethal Weapon Max moveable 3-pin sight on it but I will need to add $150 to the overall price. It is a sweet little setup.... I am also open to handgun trades.... I just want this bow to go to a good home... Jason

I used to guide at Chama Land and Cattle or the Lodge at Chama... on Private lakes... When our clients wanted to do some river fishing we would run to the SJ. So we when we were on the river we were guiding for Rainbow Lodge but that is when Gary used to own it... I haven't heard from him in years but last I heard he sold the operation... it was alot of fun but the crowds get real old real fast. The river is pretty technical and tough but when you hit it right it is nuts.... i have had 50 fish days on the river.... J

It has been years since I have really fished with passion but I personally think the Juan is one of the most dangerous rivers in the country.. Those big old Moss covered Limestone rocks are crazy slippery... You see those big flat spots and you think you can walk across them quickly and then BAM.... You bust your butt.... I had a buddy chip his elbow in the Kiddy Flats and just about blew my knee out in Lunker Ally... J

AZ has a very unique wet fly style.... They use beads mid-body... I CAN"T REMEMBER the name... Something like Arizona Peacock Lady.... Basically a Grizzly Hackle some peacock a red bead and Golden Pheasant tippet tail... The key is getting the right depth with those casting bubbles... J
-
Look at all those dang people.. THAT is exactly why I don't fish that river very much.... Only in the winter... Tommy- i believe you were in San Carlos that weekend... But next time I will see if it is okay with you if I go.

Basically I got a real job... Being a Fly Fishing Guide is a ROUGH life.... Hard work, no benefits, and I looked like a saddle bag with eyes... Usually, I only fish it in the Winter because of the crowds... BUT we did float this spring... People just don't understand the quality of that fishery. I will admit that I just picked up the fly rod on a cameo... I was pretty burnt out towards the end.... Once Again Congrats... J

Great job.. i miss that river.... I spent 8 years guiding on it... J

Need Your Honest Opinions
jamaro replied to SouthernCouesHunter's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
They only opinion that should matter is yours... Go out and shoot some bows.... That is half the fun... Don't limit yourself to those two bows... Try the Elites, the Hoyts, the Bowtech,.... Try them all... J -
I have tried them and I found them loud and twangy.... There were also issues with the rattling free... Like Cody said look at the Spot Hogg... They are the best sight I have ever seen... J
-
Sorry.. correction 3 points and 4 points... BUT it was the frickin Bookcliffs... J
-
