There is a road from sheep corral towards the wilderness that has some good glassing points and some high deer densities... I would give that a try... J

I would check your draw length... It sounds like you are opening up or pushing to the left for some reason... Does you bow arm swing out to the left dramatically after your shot? Make sure you are following thru correctly.. Jason www.bowcast.com

Try around Chama and in the Pecos... We used to rip them.. Ahh the good old days... Don't forget about the Sargent either... J -
I shot it at ATA... Personally, I didn't like it... It is very loud and it really jumps... I think that if I was going to shoot it I would use a heavy arrow to make it a little more forgiving and quiet... Saying that only you can decide what fits your style.. Go out and try it... J

I think you can see part of it from the link I posted.. notice the "L" shape of the frame... J
-
It also has a little shelf on the bottom that not only helps stabilize the load but it helps keep the pack upright so you can use the little "V" on the top of the frame a shooting rest... AND these guys are a CWT Sponsor... That alone is worth it... J

Earlier this year I started doing a ton of research on Frame Packs because I was looking for something for something to review for bowcast... I was going to use the OX but I think they are having issues.. Very few have actually made it to market. Like most Badlands packs it is heavy and load... Those Al metal stays are very "tingy"... I also didn't like the cost.. SUPER Spendy... Anyway... You might want to see what Chris D. is doing with his Outdoorsman pack.... They have a really neat design and a great concept. You can read more about the pack by following this link.... http://web.mac.com/western_hunter/Western_...mans%20Pack.pdf I plan on doing a review of one as soon as I can chase one down.... Take Care and Good Luck J
