azpackhorse replied to crotalus's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
A few years back I had a tag that was delivered to the wrong address about 1 mile away, just so happens that the person whom it was delivered to knew me and brought it over to my house, real nice young feller that is a CWT site member.......................thanks TINES!!!! -
I wasn't gonna say anything when this whole thread started but I quit doing business there a few years ago for the exact same reason, never again.

Very nice photos Doug, one o'these days I gonna have to crawl out of the 35mm era and purchase something digital. What would be your recomendation for a good field camera? I would want 12x optical zoom cuz I aint good at get'n close. I got a Coues rack sit'n right behind me now that would make yalls jaw drop, I found it when I first moved here from Oregon 20 years ago, left it sitt'n outside for about 10years, didn't really know what I had until a few years ago. Found it in a super hot secret spot -
In 3 points you will find a store with 4 or 5 BP trucks around it, perhaps some drunk people and 25 other people with a combined total of 4 teeth, bout it. Sasabe Az you will find more BP agents, buncha people from Mexico and maybe a stray burro in the road. In between the two, a little closer to Sasabe then 3 points, to the west, you will find lotsa Coues deer and a combination of all of the above.

Anyone from here going to the NRA banquet tonight (15th) or the RMEF banquet on August 5th in Tucson? The company I work for is a sponsor of the RMEF banquet so if anyone goes you get to see my ugly mug on the program.

any new gear this year?
azpackhorse replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I got a new knee brace, and gonna put a suspension lift on my truck -
I agree, anytime you mix in politics unfortunately that is what you're gonna get. It is my belief that the NRA is the biggest defender of our 2nd ammendment though and if it were not for them and thier politicians this country would be in serious trouble when it came to civilian firearm ownership. I've never been big on politics nor politicians but in this day and age they are a necessity...................unfortunately. so..........................anyone going to the RMEF banquet 8/5?

Tommy, sent you an e-mail, tried to send a PM but it said it's too full or disabled
-
If it were from 2005 the only FAD (fork antler deer) hunts were for youth only.

I am actually a wanna be archery antelope hunter, having never drawn an archery antelope tag so I am just practicing whining about it Lee, I talked to my inside contact at fish & game and managed to secure you one of the last December 36b whitetail tags, I was hoping for it to be a surprise when they posted the results on 7/21 @ 5:15pm MST but oh well.
-
If you re-read the posts there are a few places that people mentioned as good areas to start, "life matter"...............kinda dramatic. Unit 23 is there whether it's deer season or not, take a drive and don't let your panties wad up so quick.

nice little elk pix
azpackhorse replied to russd's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Those are some nice photos, I especially like the way the bull in the top photo is "strike'n a pose" for you. -
I would really love to get another antelope tag but I would be a little upset if I was one of the 40 people who draw a unit 19a archery tag and I didn't get my tag by the 11th of August (when the hunt starts) I wonder how that would work if they are going to be running late? Fortunately unit 19a was not one of my choices but if it were I would be stress'n right now.
