It said the address given was not recognized by the US Postal service or something like that. I called the help line and they said they were aware of it and to try later. I sure don't have any problem receiving my bills at that address.

Happy Birthday

Happy B-day Doug! -
I have seen alot of hound tracks back in by Elkhorn Ranch, we have also seen a few lions in there as well. There is a fella who runs dogs in the Elkhorn, I think the lions frighten the DUDES that ride all over the hills in that country and they try to control them in there.

I had the pleasure of helping get yet another person become addicted to Coues hunting yesterday. This is a photo of my friend Joe (middle) his brother Jeff(right) and the purdy one on the left is me Joey shot this buck yesterday evening after a loonnngggg 4 hour wait for him to get up out of bed. He made an awesome 400+ yard shot on the buck which was way across a canyon in some steep, rough country. He is a nice 3x3, Joey was pleased to make him his first buck. Congratulations buddy!!

how much are coues like easterns?
azpackhorse replied to EagleEye's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
You had mentioned deer "southeast of the Rockies as small or smaller than Coues", besides the two that I mentioned, not knowing where some of those locations listed below are, are there anymore that are east of the Rockies from your list below? I could just look them up but that doesn't make for a very good discussion I have seen very small basket 4x4 whitetail racks from Southern Arizona that were no more that 8 or 10" outside that my uncles shot 30 or more years ago, they are beautiful little racks and givin a choice between taking a 100" or one of those small basket bucks would be difficult for me but I think I would choose the basket rack. IN THE USA Florida Key deer Blackbeard Island whitetail Hilton Head whitetail Hunting Island whitetail . Bull’s Island whitetail Avery Island whitetail Carmen Mountain whitetail -
Congratulations on a fine buck Mr. Morales and good luck on finding the buck to fill your tag.

I know there are a subspecies in South Texas (Carmen) and one in Florida (Key), are there anymore "small ones"? Also, what is your opinion on there possibly being a "smaller than Coues" subspecies in Old Mexico and perhaps parts of Arizona known as Fantails? I have heard "old timers" talk about Coues in the Tortolitas, seems possible, not that far from the Santa Catalinas. -
Good job fellas! Congrats to George. I will be down there in March look'n for that bear's daddy!

Congrats on a fine buck, good luck on your mission.

Here is a photo of my buddy's wife's buck she shot last night. It was a tough weekend with lots of wind, we did glass up a few bucks that were very nice but just couldn't close the gap. She made an awesome 400 yard shot on this buck about a half hour before sunset. Congratulations Julie!

Another lady hunter scores
azpackhorse replied to azpackhorse's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
She was shooting a .300 win mag. It's kinda funny because she started out with a Browning BAR in .243 but on Saturday we noticed that the scope had come loose so she had to go to the Remington SPS .300 win mag, which I had nicknamed the "wife beater". That nickname derived from Julie shooting the .300 win mag at the range a week earlier but just like I had promised her, she did not feel the recoil when she shot her buck. -
