Casey, I hope another lesson you learned is to fill your truck up with fuel before you drive it out to go hunting.............. I learned that if I am riding with Casey to bring cash so I can buy him fuel from some very generous hunters at 5am out in the middle of nowhere.......................

I seen a few people I recognized from photos on here, TLH over at the AZOD booth, Bowsniper at the Desert Christian Archers booth, and I spoke with Amanda. I am so small it was hard for me to negotiate the crowds I really wanted to stop and introduce myself but everyone was deep into conversation when I passed by. I had a couple of people ask me if I was from Eager, must have a twin up there. A CWT.com get together would be cool. I was pleased to see so many Coues in the Cabelas store! Our store rocks! Much better that the one in Mitchel SD.

Just for the record I was kidding about Tred Barta, he's a bafoon

I got stuff like that to do...........jump on the quad and chase the mojados around, check the tanks for fresh garbage and backpacks, look for stolen trucks in the desert (that ones my favorite) it's awesome! for real though, about the best hunt'n show I have seen would have to be Eastman's Journal and Reel Outdoors

Tred Barta rocks! He does everything the hard way, the Barta way! He's an exceptional archer too, very modest man.

I'm gonna be there Saturday then go check out the Cabelas.

Jaguars are South American, Africa has Leopards. I beleive that Warner Glenn was one of the first, if not the first, to photograph a Jaguar alive. I work with a feller that shot one (in self defense) in 1971 when he was duck hunting down by Nogales. I beleive the last one recorder being shot in Arizona was 1986 near Wilcox by a rancher. Jaguars are still shot in Mexico, men who killed Jaguars in Mexico became somewhat of a local celebrity and considered macho. Mexican cowboys also liked making chaps from Jaguar pelts. I have a book that has every documented sighting and harvested Jaguar in Arizona. Some of you from up north may know the name Penrod, he shot one just south of Big Lake in the 60's I beleive. The book is called Borderland Jaguars and is a very good read with a nice mixture of scientific, folklore, and history on the Jaguar. I think that most of you would be surprised at how many Jaguars were killed from the early 1900's to present in Arizona, I know I was. Even some of my wife's relatives are in there! -
Happy birthday Tommy, hope you have a good one!

We may have to change unit choices, seen the biggest Coues buck (alive) of my life yesterday. Didn't have a chance to get any pictures though. Casey, you had better start training now, you don't want this "old man" to leave you behind in the mountains do you?

Gorgeous buck, congratulations. Love that droptine!

Found this guy Saturday, he had two Does and two respectable 3x3's hang'n around.

I bet it was close to 10" long and his main beam was bladed on both sides. I wish I could have gotten some better photos of him but I will be in there this weekend looking for him. -

I like this one better 1. Grong 2 thumbs up To grong, is to be spaced out, warped, tired. Most commonly refered to canabis smokers. "Are you gronging?" "I gronged out." -

Got this from Wikipedia The name Grong Grong is an aboriginal term meaning "bad camping ground" or "very bad camping ground".[2] Coordinates: 34°43′S 146°47′E[3] too funny! -
Actually this year I have seen more big groups further back in the hills where we don't usually encounter them.

My buddies named me "packhorse" years ago cuz they would strap a packframe on me and load it up with elk quarters or whatever and I would take off for camp! I just put an "az" in front of it for our awesome state! -
I just tried it again and was successful, now the waiting......................................................................... ...............
