I just bought a Ruger M77 from a widow my buddy knows, it was made in 1977 and has never been fired! Been sitting in a soft case for 30 years! This thing is absolutely spotless, not a wear mark or nothing! Gorgeous blue finish and walnut stock. It has a crappy 30 year old 4x32 Tasco on it. Comes with sling, one box of OLD ammo and soft case. $450 or trade for ? perhaps aluminum boat or ? I can posts photo tomorrow. As I was taking a photo this morning the rifle slipped and rubbed against one of the antlers so now it does have one mark in the stock knocked $50 off price (price was $500) is now $450

Online Draw Applications Suspended
azpackhorse replied to muskrat's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I like it, it adds a little more excitement to the process The part I don't like is that it will also push the date out of when we know the results, at least it won't affect Antelope hunters this year! -
Hey Ernesto! long time no...................read? Hope all is well, it's good to see you back around!

Anyone have a nice mountain bike they want to trade or partial trade? It would have to be a large frame bike for someone 6'4" 235lbs. pistols? high capacity rifles? new 4x4 pickups? camper shell that will fit a 2005 Dakota 6 1/2' bed?

Well, my spring bear hunt is over and I never fired a shot but I did find a bear and lots of bear crap. I have a knack for finding really nice animals....................that are already dead. Here is the only bear I seen on my hunt. Looks like a big hole in it's forehead.

Securing Our Borders
azpackhorse replied to coues7's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
Early last year I was hiking back into a spot I wanted to try and glass for critters, it was sometime in March and we had seen a couple of lions in there in December. This is a foot access area only and there is a particular hill that I like to glass from so off I went. As I approached the hill I noticed some deer spook off the top so I thought Lion! As I fixed my glasses on the top of the hill my heart stopped when I saw a guy peering back at me over the top of some rocks! I was only about 250yds from the top and in the open so I ducked down into the wash and out of sight, this guy was trying his darndest to find me but he wasn't gonna. I determined that he didn't pose any threat with his BIG backpack and another object he was carrying so I decided just to check the zero on my .300 winmag and just target shoot. Everyhting was fine, he went back south and I went back home. Don't kid yourself people, just cuz you may only see a few immigrants hear and there while you are out hunting once a year down south absolutely does not mean that's all there is. There is waayyyy more happening in OUR country then you may hear about, like it or not it IS a war zone. If you spend time down there, more than a week in the fall, you WILL run into bad people. Aint gonna stop me. -
Nice bird! good job, you just got to love spring turkey!

I called at noon, got an e-mail address and sent them the photos. They took my information down and thanked me.

I spend a gob of time down south, my wife absolutely hates that I insist on going down there, a lot of times by myself. I absoluyelt WILL NOT let some drug smuggling pieces of s--t dictate what I do in my country, prolly not the smartest attitude but it's the one I have. I have had a couple of ........interesting experiences down there but all has turned out well. If you spend enough time down there you will see some bad stuff, keep your wits about you, be prepared, SSS, and enjoy OUR country!

Bowtech: Allegiance or Tribute?
azpackhorse replied to archeryasu's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I have a story almost identical to hunterdan's except I had an Antelope tag.....................and I didn't kill one. I was told that the limbs were cracking due to improper bow pressing, I love my Allegiance and would absolutely buy another one. I have a 30" draw, shooting a 389gr arrow @ 316-317 FPS and that's not a guess on speed I have chrono'd it a couple of times. It is very quiet also. Truthfully, I think that all of the big name bow manufactures all have a comparable product, it just comes down to the feel and personal preference. -
David, let me know what you want for the boat when you decide to sell it. Christian, sent reply rugerman, I've got a couple of pre 64 model 94's and love them, they are what I cut my hunting teeth on in Oregon. Let me know if you reconcider, this is a "must have" Ruger for a rugerman

Amanda, I did not call the AZGF only because I didn't want to wait for them and it would be hard to explain where to find it without just showing them in person. I probably should have but I didn't, I really don't have any complaints or bad experiences with our G&F. All of my dealings have been pleasant and professional.

Dude! looks like he choked to death on a knive! Cool skull, I just may have to go back and see if the smell has eased up enough to get his head.
-
Actually that is exactly how I found it, we were glassing and I kept smelling something, followed the wind and there it was right off the side of a road. It was greasy and stinky, looked like it had been there a few months anyway.
