There are drain holes in the bottom, I am going to make a couple of straps and weld them across the back with holes in the end to strap to the tree. I am a shop foreman at a manufacturing shop here in Tucson so I just used scrap stainless and built it on my own time using shop equiptment so it didn't cost me a dime other than a little time. I probably have aroung 2 hours into it.

Here is a shooting rest we made at work, it has the mounting plate built in. All aluminum, welded, anodized.

The buck ended up not only making the Boone and Crocket minimum of 110 but ended up scoring 3 3/8 over that thus making azpackhorse this years contest winner

I prefer SW just because they are such avid supporters of Arizona organizations (and it's the only store in Tucson ) I personally will spend a buck or two more at SW to "repay" thier support. I would like to see them have an on-line store set up.

I gave up the 12oz curls long ago, haven't had a soda in a few months. I used to alternate running 5 miles and biking but now I am limited to just biking, looks like another knee surgery is in the horizon but I'm trying to make it till April so perhaps you will be able to keep up with this old man Casey I just broke down and bought a trail cam and have a spot quite a ways back in the boonies I want to place it (no I'm not telling you Casey) gonna pack in a trace mineral block so I will get some pack time in. I've had some major trama to my body and if I want to be able to move around ok I have to exercise all year round.

I hear what you're saying tj but if I am the tag holder I want to hunt archery bull in the rut. I go on elk hunts every year and I enjoy just being there and experiencing it all but when it comes down to me personally nothing compares to rutting bull elk with archery gear. next year I will have my 3rd Arizona elk tag........................hopefully

naaa.......I aint that old yet but I'm sneak'n up on it. get'n old don't bother me too much, you never know when you're gonna run out of b-days so enjoy the ones you get! Rock on dudes!

well I aint that young but I got to admit..................................I am a headbanger...............been one for 30 years. My truck XM never leaves channel 48 "the squizz" (unless my wife is in there) I think Casey was a little surprised to see me ,aka ,"old man" listening to it

I apply for archery bull only and have 7BP's, if I were you and muzzy elk is what you want to do then I would stick with that plan. You may want to think about trying to get a tag in NM just to cure your itch, it's easier to get a tag there than here. Remember when muzzle loader hunts weren't popular? same with archery
