I like the Buck knives, I mostly use the Zipper but it's not a folder. I also have one of these that is a folder and I like it. It seems to hold a good edge.

I would be more inclined to think that perhaps you did..............I didn't hear an answer to any of my questions, skirted right around them, that my friend has democrat written all over it Self justification is an easy road to travel down............

Have any of you hunted elk, deer, or antelope next to a man made water hole? As long as we are making comparisons I think that one is evenly matched to baiting don't you? It is hunting animals that are trained to come to a specific spot, right? Should AZGF extend the law to include not only camping within 1/4 mile of a water hole but to hunting within a 1/4 of it as well? What about acorns? Seems a little unfair to hunt deer where they get dinner? WHEN they outlaw the use of attractants all together I will gladly obey the law but history has proved itself...................give an inch and a mile is sacrificed. I can fully understand both sides of this debate but.................the original post was centered around the use of trail cams, attractants just kind of slipped in there somewhere. I can honestly say that I will not be hunting over the spot that I have placed attractants in order to get photos of deer, will I be hunting the general area? Yep, sure will

My favorite legal thing to do is to shoot a deer in the gut first, and then I like to shoot it in a leg at a time until it can't walk any longer without a whole lot of effort. Once it stops for good, I'll shoot it in the head to put it out of its misery, which is the ethical thing to do. I wouldn't want to be inhumane. -TONY I understand the basis of your argument but the comparisons are somewhat ridiculous.

Carp in camp

Nice buck! perhaps someone poored that there deer cocaine all over the picnic table................................. -
I've seen deer exhibit similar reactions around mineral blocks placed by ranchers, man made dirt tanks, camp grounds, and even immigrant food caches................................ intentions may differ but end result is the same, they attract deer. If "deer attractants" are outlawed there are still plenty of things placed by man that will attract deer and perhaps make them act in an "unatural" way. Not many things are as black and white as we may want but once the "ban it" ball is rolling it may be hard to stop.

Buckhorn, they make them and if I had the extra $ laying around I'd have one, I don't think they are illegal ........yet.
-
I personally don't care who endorses the use, if big brother Arizona says it's legal then there's no argument. More than not Ethics are a personal choice or opinion. If it's legal and you're ok with it then do it, if it's legal and you deem it unethical then that's your opinion and nothing else, it doesn't matter to anyone but you so why voice it? If you are serious about it then attempt to do something about it legally............a good place to start would be going to AZGF meetings with a well planned out solution to your "opinion". And that my friends is my opinion .............oh ya.........and the law

Wade, I was in your same shoes just a few weeks ago, I am by no means any kind of trailcam expert but the approach I took was to buy a cheaper camera (Moultrie D-40) and give it a try, work out any details as far as setup and placement. I am now totally and hopelessly addicted to this trailcam stuff and already looking to upgrade to a better camera. The Moultrie seems to be working well but I am getting quite a few shots of nothing which leads me to believe that the reaction time is a little slow. Good luck and most of all have fun! -
Congrats Kade! Very impressive! And thanks dad for raising the next generation, nothing like the feeling of being a proud father eh?!?! Looking forward to those deer photos Kade!!
