azpackhorse replied to Sundevils79's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Nice photos, it looks likea great spot to hang a cam. There is a spot in the Santa Ritas very similar to yours that I have always wanted to hang a cam on, just haven't done it yet. -
Did the scoutgards cameras come in ? I tried to send a PM to you Amanda but your mail box is full

Well it's probably not what you expected but an Oregon Sea Lion. Took these photos while back in my home state last month. Here's a look at where they live, the Oregon coast is an awesome place.

Cowards Caught on Camera!
azpackhorse replied to cramerhunts's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
I have been building security boxes for my cameras, I know that someone can get into them if they really wanted but being placed so remotely and so heavily secured they would have to shoot it up to destroy them. I have my pack loaded and ready to place 1 cam this weekend and it weighs almost 60lbs, that includes 6lbs of rock salt. It's kind of a pain to get back into the camera spots but I consider it part of my physical training I am using HEAVY chain and locks on them. All stainless steel and they are painted with olive drab/flat black gun coat. Sorry about your cam Phil -
I've never understood this statement either, how many thousands of people see it while you are driving around every day?? Looks like azhuntnut gave the guy a bunch of free advertising to me!

I'm not great at judging Antelope but if it were me I would shoot a couple of them, you've gotten 2 Antelope tags in a row?!? In Arizona?
-
Amanda, will you be carrying the accessories for the camera also?

Great photos, I really need to make it to Yellowstone one o' these days. A bull Bison is such an impressive animal!

I went out to feed my fish at 4am Saturday and caught a little movement next to my foot and seen this guy wrapped around a solar light next to my pond, got my attention real quick! I've seen one in my yard climbing a tree to get to bird's nests.

What a great buck. I've heard nothing but good about Chris' work.

Phil, I will be in 36B again this year, gonna set the cam up soon.

That Southern country sure is green this time of year, that has got to be quite a haul for you to check your cams?!

Definately a Blacktail. I've never seen a Massasauga in the wild but I believe they are mostly in the very South East corner of the state and rare, they are protected. -
What the heck is a "skinwalker"? I've heard Casey referred to as ZAMFIR "master of the skin flute" The only thing that kinda freaks me out while out in the woods is BEES! It's the one thing you can't get away from or kill!

Got my 8th Coues tag in a row, will be hunting down south in October I was in Oregon when the results came out, had to call my boss and have him look it up for me.

Tres Bellotas? I've hopped in a couple of Super Dutys I've found and drove them to the blacktop and then called Pinal County Sheriffs, I even found 500 Pesos in the last one!

azpackhorse replied to Snapshot's topic in CouesWhitetail.com Get-togethers!
I plan on being there, my A/C died in my house and the only way I will miss the party is if they're gonna be there Saturday fixing it. Hopefully it's fixed waayyyyy before Saturday, the little lady is getting a little grumpy from the heat I can bring a bag target. -

I am looking to sell or possibly trade off my 85 Bronco, I've owned this truck for about 16 years but I just don't drive it anymore. It's a bad-butt tuff truck, it is not a fuel efficient luxury vehicle. It's making close to 400HP out of the 351W I built a few years ago, C6 tranny, NP208, trac-lok axles, new (5) 33x10.5 BFG all terrain K/O's. I've done a gob of work to this truck so if you are interested email me and I will give you the particulars. It is not set up to go through emissions since I live in a exempt area but I have all the junk to do it. I am interested in a 650cc dual sport motor cycle or $2500, I have around $5000 in the engine alone. I've got close to $2500 in just the tires and exhaust! She's been a great truck and will go darn near anywhere but she is just sitting on my property and I think it's time to let her go. COMPLETE WITH CWT.COM STICKER!! If you want I can throw in the OCD/ball fetching/psycho lab in the last photo J/K
