If you mean the RMEF Banquet in Tucson this Saturday, I'll be there. It's at the Marriott at Starr Pass Resort this year.

I heard that they don't carry weapons and just want to come here and work The stats on these "immigrants" that just come here to work that are criminals is scary. I agree with everyone, if you want to hunt down there then go ahead, I do, but just be prepared.

what the heck kind of Optima battery are you buying?? This is what they cost me for my Jeep http://www.batteriesplus.com/products/61-S...Wrangler/1.aspx

I took my own photos very close to where I took my photos http://www.nationalterroralert.com/updates...game-employees/

I totally agree Hammy but one thing to take into consideration is that the situation is rapidly deteriorating along our border. The bad guys are more brazen and determined to deliver the product at any cost. You can find that in the news. azhuntergirl, I didn't read that any of your comments were taken out of context, at least I didn't take them out of context. All I am trying to get across to people who ask is that YES, there is certainly a growing potential for violent crimes against hunters.

In similar bullet weights the .300 outperforms the 7mm in velocity and ft lbs of energy but they are pretty equal out past 500yds.
-
Hey Zach, when we head down to scout for your hunt I'll bring my .300 winmag and let you shoot it to see if you like it. If you want a thumper long range machine then go to the classifieds and look at that 30-378 for sale!

Farmer's cash crop. Ran into this while checking a cam last year. post harvest migration, this is in Peck Canyon about 1/2 mile from homes. These were the last 2 in a string of 10. My .300 winmag was itching something fierce. I ran into more drug smuggling action last year then all prior years combined. Believe what you want fellers but I am here to tell you that it is a battle ground out there so stay vigilant.

It really depends on thier size and age, the folks at Arizona Feeds should be able to hook you up with a grain pellet to finish them for slaughter. I would pop them in the head with a .22 and slit thier throats then hang them from a tree and let them bleed out. Use caution when skinning as the oils and Lanolin can contaminate the meat and give a strong taste. Many many years ago I worked in a slaughter house where we mainly slaughtered lambs, I work the "kill box" and I had a wand that would shock them enough to knock them out then I would cut thier throats and hang them up and let them bleed out. By far the most physical job I have ever had. mmmmmmmm grilled lamb chops!

Very cool photo Brian.

The guys in that photo tracked that Jaguar into an old mine shaft and went in after it with a flashlight and a 30-30 with cotton stuffed in their ears and shot it. They didn't take enough ammo the first trip and had to come out for more. Cool story.

Another vote for WGP, I've been taking my critters there for years and have always been satisfied. He makes some awesome sausage out of my Javelina.
-
25-06, that is one of the best stories I've read. It is called the Total wreck mine Jaguar. It was shot in 1961 on the La Cie'nega Ranch. Are you related to Goodwin, Ferguson, or Barnett?

KRP, you and your family are in our prayers, celebrate the time the Lord gave you with your son and remember all of the good times you had together. I know the pain you are feeling, if you need to speak to someone that has been through it, I am here.

in the market for a range finder
azpackhorse replied to fisher_hunt's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I am with DubTee on this one, unless you are dead set on having the angle compensating range finder look at the Leica CRF. I love mine and Camerland has the CRF900 for $429! -
Ya no kidding! these Southern units are getting too dangerous.........................time to head North!!

Very cool snakes, here is one I cornered in the Chiricahuas a couple of weeks ago. He wasn't too happy with me, about a 5 footer.

Have you checked with Sportsmans Wharehouse? My buddy sent his daughter through a class there this last spring.
