    Silver Bells?

Doug, That is my back yard, been wonder'n around them hills for 25 years. Best way from I-10 is exit Pinal Rd. towards Evergreen Air Center and turn South on Trico Rd head South for about 8 miles to Silverbell Rd. and take it all the out to the mountain. When you head out to photograph just give me a shout if you want, I know all the roads quite well. Gorgeous mountain and if you're lucky you may even spot some Bighorns. Pretty sure that it's part of Ironwood National Forest now.
  4. Came across this little creature while on one of those "team" hunts in 33. It was not at all concerned with me, I was about 10ft from it when I took the photos. tried to get my buddy to grab it's tail so I could get some action shots but no dice.

    Border Units Reviewed.

Spent quite a bit of time down there like usual. Nothing out of the ordinary, a few UDA's and that's about it. Went out one evening with a BP agent on his hunt and he got us busted by fellow agents by setting off sensors in a highly traveled UDA path. I know quite a few guys with dual citizenship and even they are leery of crossing over down South right now, a lot of shootouts happening in Mexico right now. All you guys heading South of the border be safe.

    Coati

Amanda, it had a juvenile with it, cute little bugger. It ran away from me into some brush so I couldn't photograph it. I assumed this one was a small female. Phil, I know better

How big does he have to be!

I can honestly say, after years of experience, that when I head out with bow in hand, that I have absolutely no idea what my "standards" will be for that day. If the spirit moves me at that particular moment, antler size has no affect on my decision. And I wouldn't want it any other way.
  9. A reply from John McCain Dear Mr. Fisher: Thank you for contacting me regarding the nomination of David Hamilton to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit. I appreciate your thoughts on this important issue. David Hamilton was nominated by President Obama on March 17, 2009. The Senate Judiciary Committee held hearings on Judge Hamilton's nomination on April 1, 2009 and April 28, 2009 and reported his nomination out of committee on June 4, 2009 by a 12-7 vote. At this time, the nomination has not been considered by the full Senate. As with all nominees to the Federal bench, I will thoroughly consider his experience, qualifications, philosophy and judicial temperament when his nomination comes before the full Senate for a vote. The founding fathers of our country specifically provided in Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution that members of the Senate should provide "advice and consent" to the President on his or her nominees. I take that duty seriously and will review his nomination at the appropriate time. Thank you again for taking the time to share your views. Please feel free to contact me on this or any other matter of concern. Sincerely, John McCain United States Senator JM/dkr

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Written by George Washington in 1789 Whereas it is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favor, and whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me "to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness. Now therefore I do recommend and assign Thursday the 26th day of November next to be devoted by the People of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be. That we may then all unite in rendering unto him our sincere and humble thanks, for his kind care and protection of the People of this Country previous to their becoming a Nation, for the signal and manifold mercies, and the favorable interpositions of his providence, which we experienced in the course and conclusion of the late war, for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty, which we have since enjoyed, for the peaceable and rational manner, in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national One now lately instituted, for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed; and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and in general for all the great and various favors which he hath been pleased to confer upon us. And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech him to pardon our national and other transgressions, to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually, to render our national government a blessing to all the people, by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed, to protect and guide all Sovereigns and Nations (especially such as have shown kindness unto us) and to bless them with good government, peace, and concord. To promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the encrease of science among them and Us, and generally to grant unto all Mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as he alone knows to be best. Given under my hand at the City of New York the third day of October in the year of our Lord 1789.[8]

    Happy Thanksgiving!

I find it amazing the amount of wisdom and common sense our Founding Fathers had, they were not detatched from the truth as we are today. They were also not afraid to defend, to the death need be, what God was so gracious to give us. I know what the truth is and I am thankful for what we have been givin, do you know the truth? It is there and all you have to do is ask. Happy Thanksgiving all and may God bless.
