interesting email I received today
azpackhorse posted a topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I got this email from a guy I used to work with. Along with the letter that Gilstrap issued trying to sell this bill to everyone. Gary / Scott / Brian, My brother-in-law is trying to help move a bill that is designed to improve some issues that we have as hunters. The bill would take a small portion of existing tags and use them to generate funds through a lottery and auction at a new hunters expo. John is very involved in wildlife conservation and hunters rights. Can you take a look at the attached and let me know if that is something you might be willing to support? We are looking for as much support as we can get right now. They tried to get it passed earlier but it was met with a lot of resistance. They think the reaistance was mostly from poor communication at the front end of the process. Thanks, Greg Begin forwarded message: From: John Koleszar Date: March 13, 2012 7:34:57 PM MST To: Greg Subject: Re: Bill here is the amended version from Suzanne Gilstrap and their apology On Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 7:26 PM, Greg wrote: Shoot the bill over to me as soon as you can and I'll give you my opinion. If ANYONE thinks that the AZSFW is any different from the SFW in this article, you are sadly mistaken. Look at the history following SFW across the West, do we want to just be another state sucked dry by these people? heck NO, I don't! Let's make this end here in Arizona, time to get off the fence and act people. Arizona is tougher than that!

I was told by Steve Pierce's office this morning that he is opposed to the bill as it is written now and that they have received many calls opposing it, she also said that they are keeping an eye out for any strike only's. -

I need to make a public appology here, I honestly thought that I had removed personal info from this email before I posted but it was on there. I did not intend to do that and I appologize for that. Brian -

These forums are a great way to comminicate with a lot of sportsman, I believe that if it weren't for forums like this that HB2072 would've breezed right by us so your hating on the blogspots is ridiculous. Just because everyone doesn't get on here and participate in these discussions doesn't mean that they don't participate in the matters at hand, the overwhelming outpouring of support to defeat HB2072 is a absolute proof of that and it is my belief that would never have occurred without this and other similar hunting forums. There is, however, others that will get on here (with their first post)and try to stirr us up and take away our focus, which is exactly what I think you are doing SNORT -

here are some photos of the setup I went with, it seems to be rock solid.

I am setting up the same rifle/scope combo except in .300 winmag. I ended up going with EGW 20moa HD picatinny rail and thier heavy duty tactical mounts. Once I get them mounted I will post a photo. Midway carries them but I saved a little by going directly through them. https://www.egwguns.com/index.php?p=egw_store
