The town of Oracle is Whitetail elevation even down low by the Biosphere2 there are Coues just lots of private land. Remember Coues are half the size of eastern deer unless you stopped, sat, and glued binos to your face you probably passed deer all day. Dropping down the ridge a climbing up the next is a hike 75% of hunters aren't willing to make but the 25% that do kill big deer not just in that area but in general. That area has always produced great bucks and will continue to do so and so does the gap. Ok , that's about all I can say on here before I have guides and outfitters making newbie pages just to pm me nasty messages demanding I ask admin to remove post haha.

Buddy of mine received 2 tags in the mail. Same tag number, 118 for his particular hunt. He called G&F to inquire and was told 300 duplicate tags were mailed on accident. Here's hoping ethical hunters do the right thing and toss the extra tag. My partner is going to hang onto the extra up until the hunt just incase he misplaces one so he doesn't have to buy a duplicate which has happened to him before but will then destroy his extra. What a slip up!

I'd say the one is based on that criteria, rings around eyes and nose, the ears are considerably smaller than the other deer.

33 is hunted a lot but its a large unit many areas don't see pressure, since the fires the deer numbers have increased. PLENTY of areas to hunt alone. Speaking of nutrient rich burn areas it might payoff to hunt 29, large range with good access. My focal points would be 33, 32, 31, 29, and 27 in the insane steep nasty stuff only psychos hunt in. Hunt like it's your last Jan-March and Oct-Dec. Best of luck to all involved! Shoot straight! -
Thank you guys
