Looks like it just depends on the type of felony according to the website. -
Vaquero outfitters..... Ouch that'll leave a mark
elecshoc replied to joelpresmyk8's topic in The Campfire
I just hope they treat each lope they harassed as one single count. That would get their attention. -
I wouldn't say it directly linear in that the better shape you are the better hunter you are. What it will do is provide you with more opportunities while out in the field. Would a "better" hunter need less chances in the field?

Wouldn't the "ethical" and law abiding citizen at least tell g&f or the forest service about said property?

Rodeo through az quite a bit as a young man and rode bulls for a few years as well. Good times with a bunch of good friends here and there. Every now and then I think back to the adrenaline rush and think just one more time. Then my shoulder locks up or my elbow pops like a .22 or I try to bend down and hear my knees sound like a bowl of rice crispys then I think I better not. jgraff - hopefully you don't take it too lightly, even a "non-rank" bull could easily put a hurtin on you.

Well by chance if looking at other options avoid older Duramaxs with the LB7 engines, injector issues run abound with them and with that series swapping them out is labor intensive. Anything after that series gm designed easier access. Although I do have to say that my LB7 is around the 350000 mile mark and is still enough truck for me with swapping out injectors one time. My pops has a 07 d max with well over 300000 miles as well with the only changes he's made was with glow plugs and he did have a solenoid go out in the tranny which gm picked up. We also had a gen 2 dodge with the cummins back from 94 that also ran over 300000, with those gen 2 4x4 you have to reinforce the front end for vibration issues. Well these are just my personal experiences with these particular trucks, but I gotta say that as with anything these days you really never know what's gonna happen once you start driving. Even the top rated truck series and makes will have lemons come off the line. There's no such thing as a bullet proof truck, engine combo out there. Just gotta treat them right and hope for the best really.

+1 on the course layout and also what is the max distance on the range. Is it different for the trad shooters as well. Thanks

That would be awesome....

Awesome, thanks for putting this together.

It was bound to catch up with them, they played tough throughout the year though. My Broncos are still in it so we'll see what happens next week.

I think they're referring to the pack in/pack out policy. Just as trash you wouldn't leave in the area, its the same with a camera in a wilderness area. Not a specific rule aimed at stands or cameras.

Rare gray wolf seen at Grand Canyon may be dead
elecshoc replied to down2hunt's topic in The Campfire
They know because he reported it. Looks like he was hunting yotes when he dropped the wolf. He reported to the state who then notified the feds. They're still not sure if it's the same wolf or not, they'll run DNA on it to see. I wouldn't be surprised if not, my hunting partner and I saw what we thought could be a wolf a couple years ago on the Navajo rez, no collar on it. I've heard of other sightings as well from reputable people. -
There was a video posted on here earlier in the year, if I'm not mistaken from an outfitter or maybe elk foundation? It was to preview the new year and it had some awesome film of bulls and it had some video from drones within it. I don't recall if they actually filmed elk from the drones or if they used it just for the scenic views. I remember because it struck me because at the time there was talk of if the faa would allow drones for commercial use. I'll try and search for the vid.

New to Arizona hunting. Tips?
elecshoc replied to TripleThreatKris's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I suggest going out to the Tucson mountain park archery range and using the field courses. It'll help get you use to walking in the terrain and shooting through lanes somewhat of what you'll see in the desert. Probably help with judging yardages out here as well. Good luck -
You know I give grief to my lovely lady and daughters throughout the year, when we decide to go out and enjoy some time together. They seems to always dress themselves at least two to three times before they get they're outfits just right to go. I just sit, wait and laugh while all this goes down at my house. Well now it's almost go time and as I sit here at work patiently waiting for the clock to move, I find myself going through all the different camo shirt and bdus combos I have for Friday. Hmm looks like it gonna be hot, so short sleeves to keep cool. Well maybe long sleeves so I don't get too burnt up on the first day. How about boots, go with the lacosse or the short timbo hikers. How about headgear, full brim hat or camo cap.... Well lets just say I'm glad I caught myself before I found myself putting on an outfit then swapping it out.... I think this clock is broke

"That's bowhunting!" My Illinois archery deer hunt on a budget
elecshoc replied to naturegirl's topic in Other Big Game
Awesome, if you're willing to spend for out of state hunts you should check out Navajo res archery deer hunts. 400 for non Navajo tag, only problem is that the tags are first come first served at the fish and wildlife office once it opens for the year. Just another experience available in the state. -
