Anyone know the family washed away in Tonto Basin?
Newbie2012 replied to PRDATR's topic in The Campfire
Yup. My brother and I have turned around many times when we see the signs and barricades, even if they’re not up and the creek is flowing good. The barricades are there for a reason. What decision a person makes is up to them, but they better be ready to live with the consequences……if they survive. -
Peloton VS Nordic Track VS something else??
Newbie2012 replied to WHT_MTNMAN's topic in Hunting Fitness
All I know is that Peloton has the most annoying commercials! 🤮 -
Saw a handful myself.

It was requested back on 12/29/2021.

backtracking! lol

That seems to contradict your user name. ✌️
-
That was the purpose. This thread is stupid.
-
Lol I’m going to post a reminder thread on Feb 8th just out of spite!
-
Man, that’s awesome. It’s all I want to do anymore, if not hunting, then be outdoors doing what you’re doing here. Stupid job gets in the way!

After 5 years, the ol’ boy is up with the Commission at their next meeting 1/21.

If you’re set on rifle and with 10 points, the late hunts are your only hope. You have a few options with September archery. Take the 4B suggestions with a grain of salt. It’s a running joke here on CWT for many years. I’d take Dave up on his offer and give him a call. Good luck!

Wait till you see the one just approved on the Babbit Ranch north of Flag. Will be the largest in the state.

There’s a bunch of these!
-
Nope. You can go back and purchase Point Guard up until the application deadline.

Why do they always gotta give them cute little names?

The OP’s ad, so his rules. Don’t like it, don’t buy it.

Well, join the antis and go ban atvs. Nobody’s stoping you. The antis war chest is in the millions of dollars and growing everyday. Once the predator ban is on the ballot, it’s over. I hope you come back and comment on this thread once the initiative gets on the ballot and we lose predator hunting for good.
-
Not directed at you. It was a generic statement towards the apathy prevalent in the hunting community. As to AGFD: I suppose they have to remain or appear neutral in this process.
-
Once these groups get it on the ballot, it’ll be game over for us. The demographics have change here in Arizona and the sentiments of the 1980’s are long gone. We’re trying to keep this out of the Legislature. Again, once there, you’ll only be able to enjoy predator activity with your camera. Rather than thump your chest with bravado about how many tags you spend your money on, it wouldn’t hurt to write a letter.
-
Ok, with context, that makes sense.
-
That’s a strange statement from Amber Munig. Are we suppose to comment every year on every species they manage? They keep terrible records, at least for easy public view. The most recent hunt survey report from 2018 shows lion tags have increased substantially. I think that pretty much shows continuing interest.

654321 clearly meant big game since he mentioned elk and deer in his response.
