I didnāt have a clue what to do for her. I just kept pressure on the bleeding, and she was in a lot of pain. Thankfully a local stopped and suggested the hot water after about 10 minutes. The taco shop on the beach was nice enough to heat up a pan of water and gave me a towel to soak and put in her ankle. It was nearly instant relief for her. There was a golf ball size knot that formed and I kept having to squeeze and drain it off every few minutes. we booked with the Barbara for the fishing. Wish I had known about Marlaās. It was a long day with only a dozen water bottles and no lunch for 8 people. The captain made a small bowl of ceviche from the 2 fish that were caught. I wouldnāt think that was the standard for the money we paid.

I was in PV last week and had booked a day trip. It was the worst day of the whole vacation, Fishing was terrible. 2 small dorados all day. Actually maybe it wasnāt the worst because my wife got stung by a sting Ray the next day. Never saw anything like that before. Ankle is still swollen and sore.

I can remember forgetting all about it until my mom would hand the white (or pink) slips from G/F to my Dad when he got home from work. Then being relentless until opening weekend asking when we were leaving. We always fished all summer, so I think that was enough of a distraction when youāre 8-12 years old.

Maybe they simply came up with the harvest quotas as a general guess to begin the baseline for evaluating and editing the numbers going forward. For sure, as a group, hunters have not been consistent in returning the harvest surveys so what could G/F do? They start implementing rules (reporting within 48 hours) to get the data they need to begin realizing more accurate ratios. We could have helped ourselves had more people participated (honestly) in the surveys for the last 20 years. This isnāt a G/F problem, this is a G/F effort to a solution.

I bought in and followed crypto pretty closely for about year chasing the swings. It was fun and made a little money. As it slowed down and began to decline, I got completely out. Kinda got bored with it actually. Pretty repetitive, lose a little, gain a little. Itās very similar to slot machine hahaha. Fun when you hit it right. -
Would be difficult to enforce I believe. Most of the data will be from the same guys that have been sending in their paperwork, or more recently completing the surveys on line. The only positive I see in the short term with this plan is the awareness and who knows, maybe in the years to come we will see more participation in the reporting. Any uptick in the percentages of data is better than nothing. Itās obvious they had to do something, just not sure this was the answer. Time will tell.

Yeah, youāre probably right about thatā¦.

Canāt imagine an extra 25$ per year for āPriority positioningā improves your odds that much. Likely some will pay it tho.

We vacation in Rocky Point the first week in May every year and it seems like we always talk about the hunts because the regs have just come out. Seems like the app deadline is the 2nd week in June every year, so they could be out anytime now.

If youāre not squeezed for time, 12AW would be a great hunt. Be worth checking the odds. Itās usually late October, being you mentioned the elk tag in November. If it works out I am sure it will be a great trip with your son. Good news on the PSA.

This is good adviceā¦.. you can bet (depending on the unit and tag numbers) that plenty of guys will be trying to randomly bugle and cow call for a response. I think the animals get conditioned to this very quickly. Archery hunts Iāve had and other hunts Iāve been invited to, we always did better going in early and quietly. Try and locate them feeding and get in front of them when they move to their beds. Also, as mentioned, sit still on water if itās feasible. Thereās a time and place for calling, but often times it becomes the best way to watch a herd race away from you. Obviously there are exceptions to it all and being prepared to make good and timely calls can be productive. Best of luck to you and the wife. Makes great memories!

Was there 3 days this week. Lots of little bass up shallow. Larger fish were hard to find. Lots of crappie fisherman having a good time. Saw a few people on the tonto end doing well trolling in the trees. Weather is supposed to cool down again so it may change things this weekend. Also had the normal 2 pm winds which made for a rough ride back to Windy Hill.
