With only 2 days left in my hunt, I have a question for all you long time coues hunters. I am seeing quite a few deer. The problem I have is none of them have antlers. If I am seeing nothing but does should I give up on that spot? Is it a good thing that doe are around? Kinda confused any help would be appreciated.

How bad is it in 34a? I have come across illegals but they weren't carrying any weapons that I was able to notice. Just curious which area/areas are the worst for the drug smugglers.

Hey guys, I grew up in Western New York, in a town of 400 people. Not the New York most folks think of. I grew up learning how to fish, hunt and trap. A great childhood and early adult life. I quickly learned I needed to grow up and college wasn't for me. I enlisted in the United States Air Force and still serve on active duty. Five years ago I was sent to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base to work avionics on the A-10 aircraft. I quickly began looking for oppurtunities in the outdoors. Whitetail deer? There are whitetail deer in Arizona.(I never knew or thought) I was soon hooked and coueswhitetail.com was the first site I visited. Even though I haven't tagged a deer yet coueswhitetail has taught me much about the quarry I wish to someday harvest. I have learned alot over the years but haven't quite come through on these desert ghosts. Busy alot but if anyone around Tucson needs some small electrical work done I might be able to help. Just give me a pm. Also love to do landscaping/grunt work. If you would like to just b.s. about hunting/fishing the outdoors give me a p.m.

I don't hunt with a dog currently for quail and rarely come across fellow hunters in the day to day life but do you guys see quail move more when it rains or not? I'm asking because I was out this past weekend and it drizzled the whole time and i saw more quail in one weekend than I did all of last year?

Thinkin about buying a quail dog and I am pretty new to quail hunting but I enjoy it alot. I would like to know what dogs are most affordable and easiest to train? The only birds we hunted were turkeys, goose and duck. Those didnt really require a dog. It was funny to go swimming after the ducks and geese in 20 degree weather though.

Thats great. We need more people like you to make non-hunters into hunters and respect what we do.
