Hey all just thought I would share the story and pics of my recent bear hunt. I didn't end up killing anything but had a great time. I know some of you have seen the post and due to the number of pics I will just give you a link incase anyone is interested. http://www.azsj.org/forums/showthread.php?t=14998 Like I said it is pic heavy so if you are on dial up you won't want to open this. That was probably the same people that put on the camo to go to Cabela's, Sportsmen's Warehouse, or any other sporting good store.

Yep as of Sept there are no seasons or limits on the asiatic doves so go get'em. As for crawdads, yes you do need a fishing lic. but you can get them pretty much any way you like other than that. Packer -

Sounds like a good outing. That is neat to hear about the bear sighting. I think that is the first of the year I have heard about. Packer

You are probably right, but to me they should have been told to "suck it" behind closed doors, then it isn't a public fiasco, No matter how I wrote that it just sounds bad, so just keep your minds out of the gutters, I am not talking about New York Gov. Spitzer. DB I think you are correct. Anyone has the right to petition the commission and get heard. At the last commission meeting when they (cabela's) made their original petition it was not on the adgenda so the commission could not make a decision one way or the other at that point. It appears that they made this special meeting to just address this issue. I agree that they should not accept the applications as they were late, period. This may however change how business is done in the future by allowing postmark dates as most other states in the west do. I think that we should all see what happens before we get too bent out of shape. I am hoping that the commission sticks to their guns on this issue. packer

Operation Bear Bones

You couldn't be more wrong!! Ya people get off with the right judge because they are locals and know the individual or something like that, not because of what the warden does. If you only knew what you were talking about. Packer -

Now there's a good attitude. Is it the game and fish's fault for the small fines? Are they the ones that set these rates? Do you think that they feel this is what the bad guys deserve? No is the answer to all those questions. It is our marvelous court system that sets these fines, you know those judges that we all vote in. The Game and Fish has no say in what a guy gets charged. Additionally this is on the criminal side of things. These people are still going to face civil assessments in front of the commission. This has the probability to bring alot heftier fines along with revocation of hunting and fishing privilidges. Anyway, it is pretty disappointing to hear all these responses from sportsmen. When fingers should be pointed at those who committed the crimes all you can do is again blame the game and fish for doing a poor job when they did their job and our court system is the one that let them off. VERY DISAPPOINTING Packer -

Congratulations on an awsome trophy of a lifetime, taken on a perfectly executed stalk. I have been chasing these guys around for a while and know what it must have taken to execute that stalk and remain composed enough to get it done. Packer
