Awesome buck, congratulations. I think you would have been able to hear my heart beat in the video if I had been in your shoes. Aaron

Looks like a good bear to me. It is hard to tell with the angle of the pics but it looks to have a pretty wide head to me. Aaron
-
Great looking pics. Looks like that spike is trying to get a head start before the big guys chase him off. Good luck on the hunt. Aaron
-
Nice pics, how did the hunt go, or when are you going after him?
-
Nice looking deer. How far did you have to pack it and how many loads did it take to get it out. I know 27 can be a rough place. Packer

Good work, What kind of caller and sounds did you use to get them in? Aaron

Kent, I am sorry for your loss. I have never met you but have enjoyed talking with you on a number of forums. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. aaron

Cool pics thanks for sharing. It looks like a female lion to me since it is wearing a necklace. I guess now someone else will know where your camera is. Aaron

Im sure then everyone would get a chance to see them. At the G&F office!! Hey KnumbNut, You better check my post again, I never said I took them. "get someone from G&F" What a dweeb. You are correct that you never said you took them but with the picture of the two heads cut off the bodies it was assumed that that was the case. Anyway, jonscaife is correct that if you contacted G&F and they went out and assessed the situation you should be able to legally have the animals. I am sure that would be a preferable alternative to having someone from G&F find out about the heads after the fact and come over to your house, take the heads and leave you with a citation. I don't know but that is just my $.02. Aaron

Great lookiing cat, congrats to the dogs and shooter. You guys seems to always get it done on dry ground which is getting to be a lost art it appears. Congrats again. Aaron

Its funny to me that for years I have been reading about people complaining that we should not have any new laws when it comes to OHV's but just enforce the laws we have. Now that one of the laws that has been on the books for years is enforced we get just as many complaints about the enforcement of the laws. I guess those who enforce or not the laws will always be wrong. I am sorry if every officer does not treat everyone with respect but every person is different and will take things differently. Hopefully your next encounter with law enforcement will be a more positive one that will gain a little respect and trust back. Aaron

So how many people and how long did it take to catch that many cats? I know there are times when a person can fill a stringer like that in an hour or so after a stock. Packer

I saw that as well. If anyone has any info on that bear I would love to hear it. Like you said that thing looks huge. Aaron

Great story, can't wait to hear how it ends. Packer

Most of the roads are open and good to go. I don't know specifically of the areas around Greens but the highway to Big Lake is open, although access from Sunrise is still closed. The FS is plowing alot of the drifts open and I think most of the roads excluding the 116 and 72 are passable. Hope this helps. packer
