If you have ever been around those Tanita scales and the way they weigh wrestlers these days estimating body fat and BMI.......crazy some of these kids at 4%!!! Have to have at least 6% or you have to have a doctors note saying that is normal for you. Rumor is, Blue Ridge eats a gallon of ice cream and it throws the Tanita scales off

eating everything in moderation is like road hunting with a rifle, keto is like hiking a rocky steep hill with a recurve. no foods are bad, just quantities. Some of us just struggle with road hunting........and just always end up on that rocky steep hill.........maybe someday I will get it!!!

It is kinda like hunting.......string and stick works for some, long range for others, right now my motivation is working with the program despite it being so simple as pushing the plate away........it is good to hear of the different ways people are successful maybe I can get mentally tough and develop eating habits that will take me where I want to be!!

Naw just talking about show low city limits. I realize if I want to go to dinner I go to pinetop Ive always thought of it as one place. Just like the Phoenix valley and Tucson/marana. I was introduced to the Keto plan about three weeks ago. 1. Way more expensive that what I want to spend for the rest of my life. 2. Less expensive that many others I have checked out, lots of people getting their stomach tied up, etc. 3. Because it is expensive I pay dang close attention to what I eat which was the problem to start with, cookies and milk at 10:00 at night and lots of crackers to munch on while driving! 4. The list that they give you is ridiculous to interpret for my small brain...........but I was told if I paid attention to keeping the carbs end of it down, that was the most important. Five years ago I did a very strict diet of chicken salads, chicken everything plus an exercise routine "Insanity" and I lost 25 lbs in a fairly quick manner! I did something to my elbow doing pushups and had to stop insanity and then I went back to eating crappy food. I am back to playing full court basketball three days a week and half court the other two days of the work week. It has been fun trying to get back into shape and the motivation while spendy at this point is working at getting rid of a few pounds! I agree wtih the idea that it just has to be a way of life and my hope is to get to the spot where I can try that again without the Keto!

It is almost impossible to drive mach speed through Virden though many have tried, and I did lose the front tire off my banana seat bike going down the hill towards the bridge.......at mach speed!!!

I installed a kitchen in Virden about 8 years ago and was amazed at how that little area had taken such a hit from the meth heads trying to dodge the law. I went to my Granpa's old place to see if I could get some pictures of the place and his old barn! After I spoke to the gal that came to the door, I told my wife.......we better get out of here!!! Beautiful little hidden spot, but like you say, it isn't like it used to be......
