I just find it interesting the things you can and can't do.....yet we let these not wild horses destroy and take from the available pie to the wildlife that is out there. No management, just let them run! I mean a rancher is at least held to a numbers count on how many cows per acre they can run yet these horses just multiply and nothing stopping them!

Anaya was born without hands, but on Wednesday she was announced as the winner of the Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting contest under a special needs category for her ability to write so well in cursive. This isn’t the first time that Anaya’s penmanship has won her an award either. She won the same award in 2016 for her print handwriting. “I was happy and I thought my mom was joking when she said I won again,” the third grader tells WTKR. Anaya isn’t through yet though, she says she think she’s going to tackle sports next.

I had to dig this one up because.....I'm wondering who to blame for the damage in Hawaii due to volcanic activity??? I mean those people are losing houses they built on top of a..............volcano right??? My dad's home in Alpine will burn to the ground because it was built.......in high density forest!!!! People in the desert will shrivel up and die because of the heat and lack of water!!!! My house is going to freaking blow off it's foundation if the d a m wind doesn't quit blowing in Snowflake.....

Which probably lays eggs.....that turn into bark beetles......that turn into patagonia silk eyed moths......

When I was a kid I got caught by NM G&F for shooting dove out of season with a .22 on my dad's farm.......I got two sitations....one for out of season and one for using an illegal firearm for taking dove! According to the books back then.....only a shotgun was legal firearm for taking dove.......according to that officer that memorable day!!!! And there were no "city limits" it was farmland middle of nowhere.......

How many square miles covered with ashpalt......for sure contributes to the temps......plus take away all the farm land that had cotton, corn......etc......wonder what people are gonna say when there isn't any water

That is torture.........it is funny talking about record setting years.....when I tell my boys the snow of 67 they all look at me like I'm crazy.......and then they hear other old timers mention it and it is like.....dad isn't as crazy as we thought!!

Oh I got it......I was just being sarcastic along with you.....I remember hoeing cotton in southern New Mexico.....in the 70's of course....dad dropped us off with a flatbastard, a gallon of ice water and told us he'd be back at noon to pick us up! Freckle faced red headed......it was hot then but it wasn't AZ Phoenix hot!!!

I am an Olson fan but how many titles did he really end up with?? I hated UCLA back in the Wooden days but I loved Wooden as a coach....different era, different athlets but he had philosophy and used it! Plus he had talent!!!

I think I heard on the news a record set in 47 being broken today.....musta been global warming then too!!!

Most winters my trees are fine with snow and rain moisture! This winter was so dry and my well was messed up so I had to manually water which obviously didnt get the job done! The first two trees barely have a couple of branches with leaves! The second two trees are much better but still not great! My question is if I trim them back pretty extensively will that help save the tree? I finally got my well back to working so I have plenty of water!

Six years ago I went on a very strict calorie counting diet! No excercise just watching very closely what I was eating and I lost 15lbs. Did real good for about a year after I reached my goal weight and then got sloppy and let myself get back to where I was before plus 10lbs. For a while I was content and then one day I went to put an old pair of pants on and couldn't even get close to connecting the buttons. So I swore I was gonna get back down to 140lbs. but I was stuggling with calorie counting again and just wanted to try something different! Middle of January I started drinking Keto drinks except I did half the dose recommended per day and I started paying attention to carbs......with a cheater night on Sunday nights. My motivation really was that I was spending way too much money on the Koolaide to let it fail so I also started playing basketball again for some exercise. What a difference it has made.......30 lbs gone.... I only tell the story because sometimes the motivation is different for each of us at different times in our lives, I used to do Insanity workout but that is way too rigid for my bones!!! Now to do a better job of maintaining........I have quit drinking the Koolaide and just slow and steady keeping an eye on the needle!
