    Fish stockings

We were at Luna Lake one day with grand kids and could hear this crazy loud noise up above us on the little ridge by the dam so we went up to check it out! Big old Ponderosa Pine tree had like 20 of those big birds up there! We did some reading about them and supposedly if they feel you are intruding their nesting area they will puke all over you šŸ˜³

U of A jinx possibly in the making?? Essentially fired at the start of what was expected to be his last week on the job, the longtime Long Beach State basketball boss told his players that the schoolā€™s athletic administration had not just quit on him but on them as well. Thereā€™s no way they think you can win the Big West tournament, Monson said. Letā€™s show them theyā€™re wrong. The Beach showed them ā€¦ and showed them ā€¦ and showed them. Three wins in as many days gave the team an unlikely tournament title and its coach an unexpected reprieve. While it didnā€™t save Monsonā€™s job ā€” he says he doesnā€™t want it back and his employer says he isnā€™t getting it back ā€” the championship run vaulted the Beach into a familiar position on the eve of their first NCAA tournament game in a dozen years. Seeking its first NCAA tournament victory since the high-flying days of coach Jerry Tarkanian in 1973, the 15th-seeded Beach (21-14) intends to repeat recent and distant history by stunning second-seeded Arizona (25-8) on Thursday at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. ā€œSomething [last] week has given them is, somebody telling them that they have no chance of winning that tournament,ā€ Monson said of his players, ā€œand hopefully we can continue that momentum of banding together and not worrying about anybody else.ā€

    Fastest Land Animal North America

I watched a G$F video today that was talking about the antelope being the second fastest land animal on the North American Continent.......if it is second, what is first? I kinda thought the antelope had that one tied down.

    Coop Coyote

I set my one trap for squirrels and packrats. Occasionally I catch birds. In this case the birds in the trap are keeping this coyote busy!!!

    Coop Coyote

I still have coyotes coming in pretty regular, I am worried about setting foothold traps because of domestic dogs, inside city limits etc....,....I've heard that it is almost impossible to catch a coyote in the big live traps but I think with enough time I could probably get the coyote to go into one. I have a trapping buddy that said I could borrow one. Our local animal control has done little to help me with the domestic dog issues we have had and honestly, I would rather they took care of those domestics, they have done more damage through the years than the coyotes. I critter proofed my coop about three years ago so it really isn't an issue.

    Train Robbery Joseph City

https://www.fox10phoenix.com/video/1421550.amp Five Phoenix Residents Charged with Burglary After Failed Boxcar Heist in Navajo County Five individuals are behind bars after a botched burglary attempt on a boxcar in Navajo County, Arizona. Acting on a tip about questionable behavior near the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, deputies arrived at the scene near the Jack Rabbit Trading Post in Joseph City and observed signs of forced entry to a boxcar, according to FOX 10 Phoenix. Around 5:30 p.m. on March 1, the suspects' vehicle was stopped, and inside, the Navajo County Sheriff's officers discovered tools that could be used for cutting locks. The five men, identified as Eren Morales-Sepulveda, 28; Osiele Morales-Sepulveda, 19; Oscar Morales-Sepulveda, 18; Jesus Ruiz-Urias, 20; and Adan Morales-Mendivil, 26, were subsequently taken into custody and charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools, as reported by WMICentral. The investigation prompted the involvement of the Arizona Department of Public Safety and Homeland Security, signaling the serious nature of these allegations. All accused are reported, to be Phoenix residents and now also face immigration holds due to their illegal status in the country. An update from the Navajo County Sheriff's Office on March 4 indicated, "All subjects are illegal immigrants and are being held on an immigration hold." These additional legal complications suggest that the ramifications for the alleged burglary extend beyond the immediate criminal charges. The suspects were all booked into Navajo County Jail, where they await further proceedings. PhoenixCrime & Emergencies
