Seems like the rope is slipping through our hands on a lot of this type of stuff! We also drove in to Black Canyon Lake to check out camping there! Quite a bit of camping sites available there besides just the campsites with a host. Just looking for a place to throw in a line and get the grand kids some time out in the woods!

I stopped by there yesterday and talked to the camp host, first come first serve on one side and reserved spots on the other side. Reservations made through a company based in Chicago 😡

We've been trying to research and do our due diligence but info is hard to come by. We would like to hear from those who live full time about a few things. 1) How was the building process? Length of time from start to finish? Are there good, professional contractors in the area? How is the county to work with? They seem very restrictive for such a rural, off grid area. Anyone do an owner/contractor build? 2) Anyone relying strictly on rain catchment for all water needs? Ballpark figure on yearly rainfall? 3) Roads.....are they useable year round with a 4wd? 4) Crime? Anyone have any problems that are worrisome? 5) If you had a chance to do it over, would you change anything or not do it at all? I would like to thank everyone in advance for taking the time to reply. My wife and I are currently living in Phoenix and are recently retired. We love the area and have been up there a lot. Just trying to make an informed decision. 1

Is there a decent access road off Crookton to get to this property! Many years ago that road was horrible going north off Crookton! TTT for what has to be a pretty great get away property!

I pretty much have been all around goose neck hook ups all my life and have my own opinion of why I would choose it over bumper hitch but my wife asked me what the pros and cons of each option. Bumper vs 5th Wheel What say ye???

So when it comes to toyhauler is there a brand name that seems better than others, I currently pull a 26' Keystone that I bought used here on CWT a few years back, looking/trying to not get much longer if that is possible.......I don't even have a toy to haul yet

Thanks for the responses, I appreciate you all sharing your experiences and suggestions! I currently have a great little older model bumper hitch camp trailer but am thinking about getting a toy hauler/camper to replace it! Sounds like I can still stick with my bumper hitch and be just fine!!!

I've been in my current house for 25 plus years, small lawn, sprinkler system, easy upkeep! About three years ago I started having a ton of worm castings showing up on my lawn causing it to be rough and bumpy not nice and smooth. What can I do to prevent the continual development of castings and how the heck do I get my lawn smooth again? All of my google searching has sent me to how rich I can get off of worm castings On a positive note.....I never have to buy worms for fishin!!!

I've always wanted a couple of goats to help with weeds etc on my 5 acre property but the upkeep seemed to outweigh the benefits prayers sent!!!
