Sunday when we were checking out Black Canyon Lake.....signs posted at every camp opportunity "no fires outside of designated camp fire rings" and there it is, big old fire a burning!!!!! Just idiot!!!!!

My nephew invited his soon to be inlaws and his fiance up to Alpine for the weekend, they were out driving and my brother made a comment on how the mule deer seemed to be making a comeback and fewer elk! Father in law.......why the comeback, were the elk eating the deer? LMAO........I guess I better rethink that comment!!!

Anybody willing to share information on camping at Willow Springs Lake? Can I reserve a spot? First come first serve? I tried a phone number off the FS website but was told it was a non working number 🙃
