Taxidermist Help
Non-Typical Solutions replied to azhunter23's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
A generous taxidermist trying to promote his business and hunting..... Just a side note story, in the past due to lack of funds, we have taken our skulls to a guy up here and he beetles the skulls for us in trade for capes of our deer and elk etc. But, from our last pig hunt, my 10 year old took his pig over to the taxi and the taxi asked me if he would let him do a "free" shoulder mount of my boys first big game animal. Wow, what a surprise, we haven't told my boy yet, and I told my taxi that I would be more than willing to pay, but he insisted that he wanted to do it as a gift to my boy. We are friends and work together in the same school district, but he is really going to make one little 10 year old happy. I am sure as my boys get older and want to really get a taxi job they will go back to him for their projects.... As for the coyote thing, I did the pelt idea with my boys first coyote as well......I like that option.... -
anyone heard anything near this?

I sent a little bobcat that I shot two years ago, shot him in the head with a 22.250 and that little cat brought $100 bucks, I sent it with a buddy down to Globe...I thought that wasn't too bad for a small headless cat.... $20 bucks for a fox that I pulled the D@mn tail off of as well......I was happy... -
One possible reason we have a hard time finding pigs..... Second possible reason we have a hard time finding pigs...... Wyatt my 17 year old boy has a pig down, everybody else had shot at a pig, but only one pig down. Cole, my 10 year old with his pig.

While there are some parts of this song that don't really match up with me or my lifestyle...it does do a good job of reminding me why I am what I am......my mother............... He was born in Oklahoma, His wife's name's Betty Lou Thelma Liz And he's not responsible for what he's doing Cause his mother made him what he is. And it's up against the wall Redneck Mother, Mother, who has raised her son so well. He's thirty-four and drinking in a honky tonk. Just kicking hippies asses and raising heck. Sure does like his Falstaff beer, Likes to chase it down with that Wild Turkey liquor; Drives a fifty-seven GMC pickup truck; He's got a gun rack; "Goat ropers need love, too" sticker And it's up against the wall Redneck Mother, Mother, who has raised her son so well. He's thirty-four and drinking in a honky tonk. Just kicking hippies asses and raising heck. Well, M is for the mudflaps you give me for my pickup truck O is for the Oil I put on my hair T is for T-bird H is for Haggard E is for eggs, and R is for REDNECK. bill, if over the years you have picked up a truck load of antlers, that is like some of the rest of us, but, if you picked up a truckload in one day, and you go telling everybody where you picked up that truckload, then next year, you are going to have company and lots of it. Some of the heck holes we have picked up sheds that is probably not going to be the case, but I have found that people are more protective of their shed honey holes than they are their hunting honey holes...... “There are only two kinds of men in this world: Honest men and dishonest men. There are black men and white men and yellow men and red men, but nothing counts except whether they’re honest men or dishonest men. Some men work almost entirely with their brains; some almost entirely with their hands; though most of us have to use both. But we all fall into one of the two classes-honest and dishonest. Ralph Moody, Little Britches -
What is funny, is if you read about some of the other re-intro programs, they had to bring ferretts in to control the prarie dogs and in turn had problems with the ferrets killing peoples pets and stuff like that.........serious case going around in circles....

Wish a buck was still silver. It was, back when the country was strong. Back before Elvis; before the Vietnam war came along. Before The Beatles and "Yesterday", When a man could still work, and still would. Is the best of the free life behind us now? Are the good times really over for good? Are we rolling down hill like a snowball headed for heck? With no kind of chance for the Flag or the Liberty bell. Wish a Ford and a Chevy, Could still last ten years, like they should. Is the best of the free life behind us now? Are the good times really over for good? I wish coke was still cola, And a joint was a bad place to be. And it was back before Nixon lied to us all on TV. Before microwave ovens, When a girl still cooked and chopped wood. Merle Haggard - 1981 -
PROPOSED FS ROAD CLOSURES
Non-Typical Solutions replied to Browning'sCustomMeat's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
So, it seems like on these types of proposals it is always opposite of what I thought I was voting for....so if i support that proposal, does that mean I want them to close down the roads to preserve or does it mean I want to preserve the roads that are already available.....I'm so confused -
pepe, Look just to the east of you in the New Mexico pan handle. They brought in the same critter to what used to be the Grey Ranch which is now an animal wildlife conservatory or something to that affect.........you can't hunt anything down there and I bet them prarie dogs are getting fat.....
-
OK Tony, I take back what I said....good luck on the draw and feel free to holler if you do get the 3A3C tag..... Jeff
-
3A3C late bull again, it is right here in the back yard, cost of gas and getting the time off, it is the perfect backyard hunt available..... Good luck to all.......well, except those of you who applied for the 3A3C late hunt.........

Nothing like trading one pampered poodle for another......the one thing I hate the most about pro ball players up and down the line. Well, I guess there is a size difference in the two poodles, but other than that both are whiners, making more money than I'll ever dream of, I think I will ask my boss if I can log in fewer hours for the same pay. Oh, thats right, I can't play basketball.....what was I thinking.....wait...neither can shaq.....he is just big, flat and simple big...... Here is the gameplan though.....plant Shaq down in the paint on the defensive end and let him stay there........old man style....... Sorry, never have been a Shaq fan.....probably never will be, at least Jabbar had the hook shot...... -
