Thanks for the update on that, good to hear.... -
I have been going through the same debate and decided to save my pennies how ever long it takes to get a high end electronic call instead of a less expensive version. I used to have an old Johnny Stewart tape player that I liked, but I really like the versatility that the more expensive units offer. Good luck in your search.............

Anybody have any all day experience with how long the batteries in that product will actually last on a day of calling?

Application Anxiety
Non-Typical Solutions replied to Non-Typical Solutions's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Now, if they have on line apps and also charge your credit card, that may work. But, I still think more people will apply. Writing out a check deters some people who just want to gamble........ What about an application that can be sent in online and money still mailed in?? Probably a nightmare, but I didn't like the credit card thing about online, it encouraged alot of extra applicants......... -
Wow you took the words right out of my mouth!!! + 1

Jan. 21 is mistake day......... -
I appreciate it getting posted, if you are out of work it is nice to have something different pop up, it is at least worth the try. We have all filled out job applications that you felt like you were pissing in the wind, but it is kind of like the old saying, you can't win if you don't play.........

TJ, If we could all be so gentleman about that kind of stuff we would all be better for it, I do believe we create alot of our own problems as hunters. Well done......

I called Tommy and here is the info: Jan: 30 Check in 3/4 mile north of Ash Fork on Double A 8:00pm Paying top 5 places, 500, 400, 300, 200, 100, remain money going to the family of the DPS officer that just got killed down in the valley. Entry fee: 50 bucks for two man team, 75 for a three man team. Since I can't be there I am gonna send in an entry fee anyway, Tommy said I could post his mailing address and phone number for anybody with questions. Last year the extra money went to his brother Curtis's boy and they decided to help somebody else out this year that needed a pick me up. Next year they plan a two day hunt 29th and 30th of Jan. with a dinner and stuff. Real good people putting in some time for a dang good cause. A double on coyote is a dang good thing, but a double on cats that is pretty unique, congrats on a great day of calling. Question on the open reed calling vs. electronic (don't own one yet!$$$$$) When you guys are calling those cats in, do you stay pretty continuous or do you have pauses and breaks in your series? We used to pattern after the old Johnny Stewart tapes but I swear, I have either lost my touch or just lost that art all together, frustrated.......... Congrats on some great varminting...........and thanks for sharing the pics

Just bumping this up, I have a wrestling tournament in Winslow on this weekend but still want this to be a success. I know the Cauthen family had tough Christmas/year and could use the lift from as much support on this as we can give them. -

This is a quote from the Feral Hog section of the news article posted by Red Rabbit, I felt it appropriate to add it to this thread. Bergman said these pigs root up wetlands, threaten endangered species, and spread diseases to commercial livestock and possibly even people. "At a minimum, they cause over $800 million damage to the agriculture industry in the United States," Bergman said. -
That is some serious whacking going on there congrats to all of you. You don't become Lethal Lexi by playing play station.....well, maybe the Wii but I doubt that.....lots of time goes in to bein that sucessful. Nice Job.

I figured you had a bunch of pics, I was just trying to guess out of the few you posted, even with just those few, it looks to me like alot of different bucks which is promising as far as population goes. Great pics....

Exactly my thoughts......reminded me of when my 12 year old over Christmas break he said , "Dad, what does it mean if somebody says you aint clickin on all cylinders".......I will have to show him the pics to help him understand...........

We used to see them quite often hunting down in the bootheel of New Mexico close to the Mexico border. We went 20 years ago over to Meteor Crater on a wild pig chase but never found any over there. If we don't keep the numbers down we will all of the sudden be providing services for the pesky buggers Thanks for the update....

How many different bucks do you count???? Kind of hard to keep track but maybe 10 or am I makin stuff up?? That is awesome, thanks for sharing.
