Getting ready for my deer hunt and want to make sure I read it right. Lion, Open statewide year round except for certain listed areas. Which means that Unit 27 is open for lion during my late October deer hunt, RIGHT???

This project started back in the spring with a little bit of shed hunting success. My son found him a nice matching set and we wanted to turn it into a wall hanger. With his machining skills and my welding skills we put together a bracket. And then we did a little bondo work. Then we did a little upholstery and woodwork. And now for the finished product which is a nice looking wall hanger. Now just imagine if we can go back and find this years antlers for this big guy. It is what I have come to call Catch and Release Elk Hunting For other projects that I have put together using antlers check out the link below: http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/in...0&start=210

Prickly Pears are ripe!
Non-Typical Solutions replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Cooking Wild Foods
We used to boil the fruit and then smash the juice out with a rolling pin thing and cheese cloth.(mom's way ) But this steamer gizmo right here does the job. Put it over a heat source, mash the fruit down as it gets soft and the juice comes dripping out the hose. Then you can make whatever the heck you want out of it. We brought home 11- 5 gallon buckets of fruit had two juicing steamers going and got it all juiced in one long day. Now we gotta go rob a bank to buy all the sugar, jars and junk to add to the jelly. It is well worth every bit of it we did a batch last year and gave most all of it away somehow or another. Chickens really like the mash after you get all the juice out of the fruit too..... -
And thank God for Grandma's for keepin us headed the right direction. Well put slim..............

Most probably don't care as long as everybody involved isn't jackass about it. I am guessing it doesn't really crank your chain when you find somebody already in your favorite glassing spot or sneekin spot or whatever type of spot you prefer to hunt that is naturally laying there untouched by human scent or hand. You are making it sound like you are going to intentionally ruin somebody elses plan just because you don't agree with the way they have chosen to hunt. And if you did choose to slip into somebody's already exisiting blind that was sitting over bait and kill his monster he had been seeing on his cheating trail cams all year long then you would have lowered yourself to sub standard type of hunting which would diminish the trophy of the monster buck. I have never sat a blind, or hunted over bait or treestand. Mostly just glassing and busting brush hoping to bump into something with antlers. Reminds me of a elk hunt in 3A over at the tree farms, we had done some scouting and thought we had it all figured out until WHAM...opening morning, people crawling all over the place in ATV, 4X4 on foot...you name it. Was I mad, heck yeah.....did I have the right to be mad.......not really, they all had the same tag. So what did I do........went somewhere else............. If I see a tank I want to sit and it is unoccupied, I am gonna sit it. If I see a natural rock mineral area I want to sit and it is unoccupied I am gonna sit it. If I find a block of salt sitting out there and nobody is hovering over it and I want to sit and watch it grow moss, I am gonna sit it. If I wanna go tromping through your favorite glassing, sneeking area and I don't see anybody that I am going to be disrupting.....I am gonna go tromping.... Guess just depends on how jackass I wanna be about it......
