Jeep is gone, thanks for all inquiries. Jeff -
My son rolled his Jeep Sunday morning, I don't know anything really about rollovers and condition of motors and transmissions. Just thought I would throw it out there for anybody who might be interested in parts off of it. Come look at it see if you can use it.

That is what is so fun about shed hunting, all in the family can do it, you don't have to be sneaky and you don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to find them. Great video and keep them little ones hunting.....

I sure can, have to give me another day to get that one. And you are right about replacing cars vs. kids. Very blessed to have our boy still with us. I told him tonight, his number just wasn't up yet which meant he had something else he needed to get done. -

Few more pics, rear window and passenger side back window all still good. Dam kid is lucky to be alive 3 broken bones in his back not another scratch on his body. Had been at his new job 29 days, needed 31 to get put on insurance. But we are thankful he is still here with us. Tow job from nine miles north of town, on a Sunday, plus one day in the impound yard, $200 buck. Now that makes me mad. -
My son is in the Philippines and he eats crap like that all the time......but I will pass on the offer thanks.

So this past weekend we got out of the little town of Snowflake, went to Payson on our way to Prescott for state wrestleing tournament. My wife, she wants to stop at WalMart to buy some marbles for a scout pack meeting. Easy RIGHT!!!! WRONG!!! No marbles at WalMart in Payson. OK, We are still going to Prescott, no big deal. We looked at Wal Mart, Michaels, a "variety" store that sold bongs, Big 5 Sporting Goods......we were getting desperate. Happened to notice KMART sitting off the main drag there in Prescott Valley so we detour to Kmart. The one lady says go ask the guy in sporting goods. He says,"We don't have any marbles, but we have these glass BB's for sling shots." WOW, glass BB's Perfect, fits the bill for the scout project. My 13 year old is going through the check out with us, the lady rings up the bill and then firmly informs us that it is "illegal" for the young man to carry the "glass BB's" out of the store as he is not old enough. I look at my son and then my wife in disbelief......for crying out loud they are just marbles........plain old marbles with a Daisy label on them and my 13 year old can't walk them out of the store!!!! OK, I am happy we found some marbles but really.......time for a reality check in this country, that is just pathetic....

Right, but carded for Marbles?????? I am still stupified by the idea, if stupified is a word. -
Wow,I really like that option. It's much better on my eyes as well. Now it looks like everybody can have their own choice of back grounds which should please most everyone. Great idea! Thanks for the heads up on the IBP Basic. TJ +1

Happened to us a couple of years ago, my son got several of his firearms stolen, we still think it was his room mate and buddies that took the guns. It really sucks having your guns stolen...... -
Those are awesome........

It is that time of year again and Tommy Cauthen is putting together another coyote calling contest in memory of his brother Curtis. Curtis was an avid hunter and a great kid. When I was teaching him at Ash Fork he was taking me out in unit 10 helping me learn the area. What a guy. Take a look at the information, if you can try to support the cause. Last year they donated proceeds to the family of a Phoenix police officer who had been killed. I have a wrestling tournament that weekend but will still send a donation for the cause. You are welcome to do the same if you can't make it. Thanks for your support.

Couldn't find any of the hunt forms this weekend on the mountain. But discovered that I have several left over from last year. Any reason why they wouldn't work, I couldn't find any dates on them anywhere????

That is great to hear, anybody have any pictures???? Something like this would have put a big ole smile on Curtis's face.............. -
Interesting thread for sure and definitely something we all need to take into consideration. It made me think of my youth hunting. We didn't have optics. We used open site 3030 0r .243 usually. There was no pre season scouting. Most of our shots were with the animal on the run. My very first deer was a 50 yard shot with my 3030, dear running broadside of me. We didn't use salt or cameras. One of us would work one ridge while the other would take another ridge, hoping to either jump something up, or push something to the other. I can't make a long range shot, 200 yards is the best I could make and I ain't sneaky enough to get within 12 yards of anything. I load my own loads and I shoot alot off the bench and out hunting rabbits. I think as a kid I did way more shooting than kids do these days. BB guns, .22s and that kind of stuff. Some would say that we weren't hunting back then, just beating the bush, and to a certain extent they would be right......but man it was a blast and a rush and I don't recall losing anything that we shot at. Great topic, but most of it really is just opinion and what we each get the most bang for our time and money. Some of us don't have much money so it doesn't really take much to give us a bang. I always thought hunting was about the campfire, hanging out with friends and family, steaks and dutch oven cookin anyways.

Tommy's house 3/4 of a mile north on double A out of Ash Fork, he said he will have signs out. Good luck out there, be safe and have fun. Guaranteed good meal at the end of the hunt. -

Correct, but across the board, not just one side or the other.................and still not the reason the wacko did what he did either way........... After sitting through years of parent student meetings and doing child study sessions, many kids could get thrown in jail in anticipation of the crimes they would commit for the deeds and thoughts. Most of them grow up to great young adults and contributing individuals. Fingers can get pointed in alot of directions, mental or not, killing innocent people should be dealt with harsh and fast.
