My son split his head open while at college, I advised him to go get it stitched up but it was after hours so he had to go to the ER. He was told to report back in x number of days to get the stitches out. So, my son, not familiar with the ways of the worl reported back to the ER to get his stitches out. First bill to get the stitches put in.....$1200.00 Second bill to get the stitches out.......$700.00 I call up the hostpital involved and told them I was OK with paying the ER fee for getting stitches in, but why did they tell him to report back to the ER to take them out......I coulda paid $100.00 bucks in gas and had him come home I woulda taken the stitches out...... I was pissed......... There seems to be alot of these types of invasive questions popping up in many walks of our society......hope you were able to finally get the sports physical.......

I think that is what I enjoy the most about shed hunting.....you just really never know what is waiting around the corner.....

Hunting with my wife in unit 10 trying really hard to get her a shot. I am glassing, she is sitting next to me, the ridge we are watching is such that we have several clear lanes for shooting. All the sudden 3 bucks show up about 150 yards away in one of these lanes. All she has to do is pick one and pull the trigger. I keep telling her....honey, the one on the left, shoot him he is the biggest......no honey the one on the left....... She had her gun up and crosshairs already on the buck on the left but because I told her the buck on the left she pullled up to take another look before shooting. In the mean time the bucks busted us and took off. She shoulda just shot instead of listening to me.......and she reminds me every year how I messed that hunt up 20 years ago......

Unfortunately litigation has become the way of our world.....and common sense has gone out the window............

I went out to load up my boat and trolling motor the other day only to find my trolling motor no where to be found. Here are some options..... Somebody stole it off my boat over Christmas break while I was traveling from Alpine to Snowflake Somebody stole it out of my shop and walked past compressors, nail guns, saws, miter saws, drills.............and the list goes on....... Glad you recovered your stuff.................

I used to keep a pair of those in a big tank in my classroom.....kids would bring in grasshoppers and crickets to watch them feed.......we finally figured out how to get eggs to hatch and hatched out a couple of batches and gave them away to kids who were able to show that they would take care of them. They are pretty awesome critters......if you chase one out in the flat they get up on their hind legs and do the T-Rex run........ Of course the males are the pretty ones and the females are the plain looking ones.......
